Borat @ 2007 Academy Awards
Funny man Borat aka Sacha Baron Cohen, who was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (but unfortunately lost), walked the red carpet with his fiancée, Australian actress Isla Fisher.
Sacha was asked to present an award at last night’s event, but respectfully declined when told he could not present in character as Borat. What a shame - that would have been hilarious to see!
