“Grey’s Anatomy” actor Patrick Dempsey spent his weekend doing what he loves most in the world (aside from his family) – and no it’s not acting – racing! Dempsey competed in the Rolex 24 at Daytona auto race on Saturday (January 24), where he announced that top fundraisers in 2009’s Avon Walk for Breast Cancer will win a trip to meet him. On Sunday (January 25) Dempsey arrived back in L.A. and was seen making his way through LAX airport.
Asked whether he is worried about original hospital heartthrob George Clooney’s return to ER, Patrick told reporters: “No, no, no. There’s no competition. He’s always handled himself in such a great way. I’ve heard a lot about how he behaved on the set and after the show and I think there are a lot of things to learn from him.”
