Paris Hilton and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden have split up.
The pair parted ways a few days ago after nine months of dating, during which they openly spoke about their relationship, both saying they had “never been happier.”
“She is saddened by the breakup but they’re just too different and they wanted different things in life,” says a source close to Hilton. “He was loyal and sweet but it was time to take a break.”
Paris was spotted talking to her ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos at a party in Miami over the weekend, and the heiress was accused of cheating but a source close to her says nothing happened between them.
“In no way are they romantic, nor do they want to get back together,” the source says.
Reps for both Hilton and Madden could not be reached for comment, reports People.com
