Angelina Jolie: Six Months Pregnant and Still Playing Pilot

Tue, Feb 21, 2006

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is reportedly six months pregnant, and reports are that the father of her unborn child, Brad Pitt, has pleaded with his girlfriend to slow down and take it easy.

Fat chance, Angie is six months pregnant and still playing pilot.

Angie and Brad were constantly photographed when they were still in California taking flying lessons at the Santa Monica Airport.

One pilot interviewed said this was “not unusual or particularly dangerous.”

Just Jared has photos of Jolie in France and even though she’s six months pregnant, she’s still jumping in the left seat.

Paris, France:  Leaving her kids, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 4, and Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 1, at home with dad Brad Pitt, 42, actress Angelina Jolie, 30, clutches her Louis Vuitton bag as she rushes to her flying lessons.

It’s rumored (and sounds true) that Brad and Angelina will soon be qualified (if she’s not qualified for it already) enough to make food drops in countries in need of aid.

Evanescence Singer Amy Lee: ‘I Love My Album, I Love My Band’

Amy Lee

EVANESCENCE frontwoman Amy Lee has posted the following message on the EVANESCENCE message board EVBoard.com:

“I know everyone is dying to hear whats going on, and it’s been a little while since I’ve posted.

“There’s some stuff I really shouldn’t talk about right now, but I want you to know that the record is coming out beautifully. Through all of the scary and insane drama over the last six months, there has also been a lot of good — I feel like a new person.

“As most of you already know, Terry [Balsamo, EVANESCENCE/ex-COLD guitarist] had a stroke in November. A small chunk of this recording process was spent in the neurology unit at ULCA. Every time he would wake up, all he could talk about was getting out of the hospital and playing guitar. He actually had us bring his polka-dot Randy Rhoads guitar to the hospital. It’s funny — after being stuck on lyrics for a month on one song, I remember finally writing them at the foot of Terry‘s bed in intensive care. It’s wild how life inspires you — again reminding me that we have no control over anything.

“It’s been two months, and Terry has made miraculous progress. He is in the studio with us right now, and everything is going ahead as planned. We are certain that he will make a full recovery — he’s too stubborn to settle for anything less. Meanwhile, we were (and are) going through firing our manager, and as you can see (all over the freaking Internet), that hasn’t been very easy for us either. BUT it always hurts to break through to the other side — to make the changes you have to make to help yourself, and I already feel so good. Weird. I feel better than I have in years. I love my album, I love my band, and I’m grateful for our lives. This album is meaning more and more to me as we finish it. Most of it was written when we came into the studio, but much more has poured out through all of this, making it that much better — that much more passionate.

“We will be finished with mixing and everything by March First. THAT MEANS it will be early fall when the album is actually on the shelf. We’re thinking August.

“I hope you can understand the delay, and I promise the music will be worth it. I just can’t wait to share it with everyone.

“Thank you all for being so patient and supportive. We love you!”

Lee sued her former manager, Dennis Rider of Rider Management, in early December for breach of fiduciary duty, professional negligence, conversion, sexual assault and battery, and other claims. Rider had previously filed a lawsuit against Lee over alleged unpaid commissions. Under the agreement, Rider Management was entitled to 20 percent of gross earnings. He is asking for a minimum of $10 million.

EVANESCENCE‘s major-label debut, “Fallen”, has sold 6.4 million copies in the United States.

Alicia Keys Says To Expect The Unexpected

Alicia Keys

While the music of Alicia Keys will always have Soul and R&B at its core, the singer/piano player is already planning to branch out a bit more on her next album. “I definitely see the album being a little bit edgier,” she recently told Billboard.com. “I feel like it’s going to have a lot of political elements to it as well and be a bit more guitar-driven. The sound is definitely going to be different, but obviously the heart and soul of it is always going to remain consistent.”

Keys is looking for some unexpected collaborators to help her achieve this new sound. She would like to work with more musicians outside of the Hip-Hop and R&B world, with John Mayer being at the top of her list. “I’d also like to do something that’s really out there, with like Queens Of The Stone Age or White Stripes, something just strange as hell, unexpected and interesting,” Keys said. “I always like to collaborate with one or two special folks that just take it to a new place. I have a lot of strange ideas and brainstorms.”

Billboard also reports that Keys recently recorded three new songs, including the title cut and a cover of The Impressions’ “People Get Ready” with Lyfe Jennings, for the soundtrack to the movie Glory Road. The film chronicles the 1966 Texas Western men’s basketball team, which featured the first all-African American starting lineup. And, as previously reported, she is developing a new television show based on her childhood in New York City.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine first became romantically involved in 2004, according to two eyewitness who have come forward with shocking new revelations.

Although Simpson and husband Nick Lachey battled infidelity rumours throughout their marriage, new information seems to confirm the marriage was in trouble long before the couple separated in November 2005.

According to photographer Andrew Sweeney and reporter Lisa Ladabouche, Simpson and Levine got together after they both performed at a concert in Boston, Massachusetts, for radio station Kiss 108 FM in May 2004.

Simpson was attending the concert without her husband, who was on holiday in Fiji with his brother, Drew.

Sweeney and LadaBouche, who were covering the concert for local paper, The Raw Story, tell American publication Us Weekly they witnessed the two singers kissing in a VIP area backstage.

Sweeney says, “They were backstage flirting. He was touching her hand. And then they just leaned in and started going at it, making out. Not horribly, like teenage making out, but like adults, little kisses.”

LadaBouche agrees with Sweeney saying, “I definitely saw them kissing. It was a shock – especially knowing her husband was away. And she’s supposed to be this innocent figure.”

After the concert, members of Maroon 5 and the Backstreet Boys, who had also performed at the show, went to local Boston nightclub Saint, for an afterparty, where the celebrity couple continued to get cozy.

Saint owner Brian Lesser confirms, “Jessica and Adam were sitting next to each other. I think that was the beginning of it all.”

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton has asked British designer Julien Macdonald to make her wedding dress when she finally decides to step down the aisle.

The socialite came close to the alter when she was engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis. She ended the engagement last October (05) claiming she wasn’t ready to marry and is now dating another Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos.

But MacDonald is hopeful the 24-year-old blonde will accept a proposal soon, so he can start work on her special gown.

He says of Hilton – who modelled for him at London Fashion Week on Tuesday (14FEB06) – “When she decides to get married I am going to make her wedding dress.

“You know its every girls dream is to be married, to find a man that you love and to wear your wedding dress. Of course everyone wants a designer wedding dress, this is my interpretation of a perfect wedding dress for a young beautiful woman like Paris Hilton.”

Hilton was the star of the fashion show finale, walking down the catwalk dressed in MacDonald’s wedding dress and matching veil.

How Britney Spears Re-Discovered Her Voice

Britney Spears

Britney Spears is opening up for the first time since welcoming Baby Sean Preston into the world. The singer is on a high note as she talks to People magazine about re-discovering her voice, getting back in shape and the much-talked about “Baby Gate.”

People Magazine’s Jamie Bufalino relayed Brit’s revelations about starting this new chapter in her life.

Regarding the buzz and criticism surrounding the car seat scandal, Bufalino said, “It’s been a very unfortunate incident for her and her family.”

Doting mother Britney would never put her precious baby boy at risk; he’s her pride and joy, and she revealed that he’s the inspiration behind her desire to get back in the studio and record a new album. “She’s really re-discovered her talent for singing by singing to Sean Preston,” Bufalino revealed.

In addition to a new album, which Britney said to expect by the end of the year, Spears is excited to debut her hot new body! “She’s getting into pre-baby shape by doing a combination of cardio, yoga, Pilates and weight lifting.”

But as Britney gets her life back on track, it seems that her husband Kevin Federline is still reverting to his old ways.

According to entertainment website TMZ.com, K-Fed and his buddies were playing war games in the streets of Los Angeles on Monday. “They were all over a residential area shooting air guns with rubber pellets,” said Harvey Levin, managing editor of TMZ. “They were hitting cars, buildings; they are lucky that it didn’t put somebody’s eye out.”

Britney begins her comeback with a live appearance on “Good Morning America” on February 28, and a guest spot of “Will and Grace” on April 13.
