Patrick Dempsey and his wife, Jill, have welcomed twin boys. Darby Galen and Sullivan Patrick Dempsey were born Thursday in Los Angeles, the actor’s representative told People magazine. Patrick and Jillian Dempsey also have a 5-year-old daughter, Talula.

Nicole Richie looks set to face a criminal charge for driving under the influence (DUI). The Californian Highway Patrol (CHP) handed over Nicole’s DUI case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office on Wednesday. The decision suggests CHP officials have recommended Nicole faces a criminal charge because the district attorney – rather than the city attorney office – has been asked to review the case. Nicole, 25, was charged with the offence on December 11 after being arrested for driving the wrong way along a Californian freeway.
At the time of the arrest she admitted to police she had taken the strong painkiller Vicodin and smoked marijuana. She was taken into custody and released after posting $15,000 bail. If charges are filed against Nicole a hearing will be scheduled for February 7. If convicted, Nicole’s chances of a jail sentence are further increased because of a previous DUI charge in 2002. California law states that a repeat offence carries the mandatory jail sentence of five days and the offender should have their driving licence suspended for one year.
At the time of her arrest in 2002 Nicole told police she had eaten French fries and drunk a shot of vodka. She pleaded no contest to the charge and was sentenced to three years probation. Nicole also had her driving license suspended for one year. Six months later, Nicole was arrested for possession of heroin and for driving with a suspended license.

In her first sit-down interview since her November wedding to Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes reports on married life – and, no surprise, the news is good.
“I have a husband and children that I adore. I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it’s – wow!†Holmes, 28, says in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar.
“I am very grateful. Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him husband.â€
For her photos in the magazine’s spring fashion issue, Holmes was styled by her close pal, guest fashion editor Victoria Beckham.
“Victoria has a strong sense of style – she knew the pieces she wanted Katie to wear,†Bazaar editor Glenda Bailey tells PEOPLE. “Katie’s style is very easy, laid-back.â€

So apparently Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been getting rather cozy lately. Never before have they been seen together, but as soon as JT and the lovely Cameron Diaz break up, there is Jessica. The 7th Heaven star reportedly went backstage at Justin’s San Diego concert, and has since then been spotted with the singer at the Sundance Film Festival and at a Golden Globes after party.
A source told People magazine, “He’s trying to have a good time… He is in no way looking to be in a relationship. He’s single and happy.” Biel is reported to be the source of a well-publicized spat between Timberlake and recent ex Cameron Diaz at Prince’s Golden Globes afterparty, where Biel told Timberlake’s mom, “He is sooo cute!”

Sienna Miller went through the wringer – very publicly – in 2005 when her then-fiancé Jude Law admitted he’d had an affair – but she says she’s learned from the experience.
“What makes me sad [is] that there was a loss of innocence on my part,” the Factory Girl star, 25, tells Life in its new issue. “I was blinded by being a romantic person. I sort of feel like, ‘What if I never love that vulnerably and that openly again?’ But I feel like I’m really strong. I feel like I grew up.”
She can also keep the whole thing in perspective. “People have made such a huge deal of it,” she says. “But every single woman I know has experienced the same thing – just not publicly. People would say ‘Poor her.’ But it wasn’t the first time it’s happened to me – and it won’t be the last, I’m sure. Human nature is such that monogamy is a really hard thing to achieve.”
Still, she is looking forward to getting married and having kids. “I can’t wait,” she says. “In a world where you’re encouraged to have your universe revolve around yourself, suddenly it doesn’t. I know I want that because I have way too much love to give. If I have a child, it can all go there. Life, I think, will suddenly make sense.”
When it comes to potential husbands, she’s been linked recently to actor Josh Hartnett – although she tells PEOPLE, “He’s a friend. A male friend.”
Future suitors can take note: Miller’s idea of a perfect date, she tells Life, is “a little restaurant where you don’t order, the chef just brings out whatever they’ve got. Then maybe go see some music. Or go dancing. I’ve yet to have it, so I guess I’ll let you know.”

Rumor has it that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are planning an April wedding, although, that report is coming from The National Enquirer, so I’m not so sure. The two lovebirds (pictured above looking oh so happy at a Knicks game in NYC yesterday) have been telling friends and family to “keep April free”. A source says “”They’re moving forward with plans for an April wedding. Since they both love Baja in Mexico it will probably happen south of the border, where they first fell in love.
“When he married Jessica, Nick had a big splashy Texas wedding with all the trimmings. It kicked off their highly rated MTV reality series ‘Newlyweds’ and began their life in a fishbowl. This time he wants something a lot simpler, so they decided on a low-key affair.”
The source added: “Nick’s known for a long time that Vanessa is the one. At first she held out. But in time she began to realise Nick was the key to her happiness and couldn’t imagine like without him.
“Vanessa feels she’s got Nick just where she wants him. Jessica is finally out of the picture for good. And now the two of them are ready to begin making a new life together.”

New mother Gwen Stefani has revealed the extraordinary lengths to which she went in order to shed her baby weight.
The singer kept up her grueling exercise regime until two weeks before the birth of son Kingston.
And she regained her pre-pregnancy figure in just three months with the help of a personal trainer. Stefani, 37, told Elle magazine: “I worked out with my trainer throughout the whole pregnancy until about two weeks before.
“I cried during my last session. I was like, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t do this any more. What am I doing?’ It was crazy. All of my life I’ve had to work hard to stay in shape. I’ve always struggled with it.
“I was a little chubby when I was younger and I didn’t want to be that person forever. I’m extremely vain – I like wearing cute clothes.”
Kingston, her son by husband Gavin Rossdale, is now eight months old. Stefani said of her mission to get thin again: “There aren’t any tricks, it’s simple maths – you put this much food in, you burn that much working out.
“I gave myself three months – but if I didn’t have an album coming out, there’s no way I would have got back into shape in that time. I worked out with my trainer five days a week, with weekends off. I would really recommend doing weights.”
The former No Doubt star said the size zero trend “sucks”. But she admitted to an obsession with her weight.
“Clearly, I spend time thinking about it and it’s something I’ve had to deal with in my life. As I get older I try not to focus on it. It’s boring, it’s a waste of life. What I have learned is that whether I’m fatter or thinner, people seem not to mind, they like me either way. It’s more in your own mind than anyone else’s.”
