Onlookers at Sushi Roku restaurant in Santa Monica, California got an eye and ear full when Nick Lachey and his soon-to-be-ex father-in-law, Jessica’s dad, Joe Simpson, bumped heads.
Rumor has it that Nick had been dining with a buddy and was all set to leave when Joe walked in, spotted Nick, and said bluntly, “You’ll never get half of everything in the divorce settlement.”
Nick retaliated by telling him to mind his own business. A source also visiting the restaurant says Joe sneered, “You’ll get half over my dead body!” Nick allegedly came back with a paltry, “We’ll see!”
