“Lost” star MATTHEW FOX is teaming up with MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY on a football film to be helmed by ‘Charlie’s Angels’ director McG, per The Hollywood Reporter. The untitled drama for Warner Bros. Pictures centers on the events following the 1970 plane crash that killed members of the West Virginia-based Marshall football team, along with most of its coaching staff. Fox and McConaughey will play the coaches who try to rebuild the team after the tragedy. The movie is Fox’s first big-screen studio project since 1993’s ‘My Boyfriend’s Back’ with Oscar nominee PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN.
