British Oscar nominee Keira Knightley has appeared nude on the cover of Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood issue, along with acting rival Scarlett Johansson and fashion desginer Tom Ford.
The two gorgeous starlets were joined on set by the openly gay Ford, after Rachel Mcadams dropped out, as she wasn’t comfortable with appearing nude. The pictures were shot by star photographer Annie Liebovitz exclusively for Vanity Fair, for a fold-out cover to be released this week in an issue edited by Ford himself. It also includes pictures of Angelina Jolie, Pamela Andersen and Eric Bana.
Although much has been made of artistic rivalry between the pair, Pride and Prejudice star Knightley and Johansson, who shot to fame in Lost in Translation are said to have got on well throughout. Despite initial nerves, the two actresses, who had never met before, apparently got into the swing of things quite quickly, producing a stunning set of photos, from which the cover was taken.
