Grammy Award-winner JOHN LEGEND will add another trophy to his growing collection when he is named the Soul Train Music Awards’ Entertainer of the Year next week (Begs27FEB06).
Legend was named Best New Artist at this month’s (FEB06) Grammy Award ceremony and took home a total of three awards.
The Soul Train Awards will be taped on 4 March (06) in Pasadena, California, and will be broadcast on US TV later next month.
R+B star R KELLY, who is nominated for three Soul Train awards this year, will receive the inaugural STEVIE WONDER Songwriting Award, presented by Wonder himself.
