Last week it was Nick Lachey throwing the first pitch, this week it’s none other than Victoria Beckham — who has said in the past she knows absolutely nothing about sports and is not interested in it at all. But Victoria was kind enough to show an interest yesterday, when she threw the first pitch at the New York Mets vs Los Angeles Dodgers game in LA. Anything for publicity…not that she really needs any.

Victoria Beckham — who is smiling and looking cute, by the way — also made an appearance at the 2007/2008 Chanel Cruise Show Presented by Karl Lagerfeld. Vicky’s denim line is set to hit stores sometime in July.

After spending some time back in England — mainly to catch up with her Spice Girls friends and to celebrate her hubby David’s birthday — Victoria Beckham is now back in Los Angeles — her future home. The Beckhams have reportedly decided on a mansion, quite close to the Cruise’s, and plan to move in sometime in July.

Us Weekly managed to find some old pictures of a young (18 to be exact) Victoria Beckham and I must say, she did look quite different back then. While I do think she has had a boob job, I am not so sure about everything else. She has lost weight since her Spice Girls days and that shows on her face. Anyway, check out the expenses Posh reportedly spent on her new look:

Fourteen years later, the transformation of a pretty girl from Hertfordshire, England, to an international style and beauty icon (including her 1999 marriage to soccer star David Beckham) is astounding. Yes, force of will played a role, but at this point, so has major bank.

Cheeks ($3,000):
“They’re more sculpted, maybe from weight loss or buccal fat removal,”says New York surgeon Zachary Gerut.

Lips ($2,000):
Both bottom and lower are more prominent, suggesting Juvéderm or collagen injections every few months, says Gerut.

Eyes ($8,000):
“Her eyebrows drooped and now they’re arched,” Gerut tells Us. “In my opinion, that’s a forehead lift done beautifully, not Botox.”

Nose ($11,000):
Posh’s streamlined snout could be the result of nasal refinement surgery, NYC plastic surgeon Geoffrey Tobias tells Us. “The bridge looks thinner, and the tip is narrower and slightly turned up,” he says.

Chest ($10,000):
Beckham has dropped 20 pounds since 1993, estimates NYC internist Marc Siegel. “Most women have smaller breasts as they lose weight, not bigger,” Gerut says, speculating the roundness is due to implants.

David and Victoria Beckham rushed past the waiting photographers at Cipriani’s in London today, where they were having dinner with former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. My goodness, David looks like he is about to explode in a fit of rage. If he was carrying some sort of weapon I would run for my life. Victoria on the other hand, looks gorgeous!

Victoria Beckham went on a little shopping spree the other day at the Marc Jacobs store in Beverly Hills — and look, she’s smiling! See, she can smile. People have the wrong impression of her, especially people who only see paparazzi pictures and nothing else. If you saw an interview with her, you would love her. She is funny, she doesn’t take herself too seriously and she is actually quite adorable and sweet. She has said time and time again that the reason she doesn’t like to smile in pictures is because she hates her teeth and her smile. At least something got the former Spice gals together — and that little something was Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell, who was baptised a couple of days ago. Geri, known as Ginger Spice, asked her old band-mate Victoria Beckham to be Bluebell’s godmother. The only Spice Girl who couldn’t make it was Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice. She is currently in Los Angeles taking care of her newborn baby girl.

When you are David Beckham and it’s your wife’s birthday, where do you take her? Out for a nice meal at your favorite local restaurant, and maybe give her a piece of jewelry? Nah. You fly her off to Paris and let her loose with your credit card. That’s right, David took his wife, the lovely Victoria, out for a whole day of shopping in Paris on her birthday, where she picked out whatever she wanted, including Christian Loboutin shoes. Lucky gal!

The Beckhams @ Sport Industry Awards 2007

David and Victoria Beckham walked the red carpet together at the Sport Industry Awards 2007, held last week. The pair have been having problems finding a new home in California, reports say. A source close to the Beckhams said that when one is interested in expensive mansions, it is difficult to keep identities hidden. The source added that the sellers increase the rates after realizing that the buyer is a celebrity.

“It’s pretty hard to keep identities secret when you are interested in multimillion-dollar mansions. Once sellers find out who’s interested in buying, the prices skyrocket. It’s ridiculous.”

Victoria Beckham Starts House Hunting

Victoria Beckham, soccer star David Beckham’s wife, arrived in California over the weekend as the couple relocates to the US due to David’s five-year $250 million deal with LA Galaxy. While most Americans are curious about the celebrity couple, there are a few who seem quite annoyed. Yes, you guessed right: the Wives and Girlfriends (WAGS) of the other Galaxy players.

“If she thinks she’s going to walk in here like she’s the Queen of England she’s going to find herself in for a very, very rude awakening,” the Daily Star quoted one LA WAG as saying.

Beckham is expected to join Galaxy in August after his contract with Real Madrid expires in June. Real Madrid coach said David Beckham will no longer play with the team, just practice.

Former “Posh Spice” of “Spice Girls,” now Victoria Beckham, arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday aboard a British Airways flight from London. Reportedly she is on the hunt for a house suitable for her family. The couple and their three children are expected to arrive in Los Angeles to start their new life in August, and by then everything has to be in place.
