Shakira, who leads this year’s MTV’s Video Music Awards with seven nominations, gives a taste of what’s in store during a press conference Thursday in Mexico City to announce her Oral Fixation tour dates.

Latin sensation Shakira will back “Oral Fixation, Vol. 2″–her first English-language album since 2001–with a late-summer run on the US arena circuit.
The singer’s itinerary gets underway in early August and stretches through late November, with an emphasis on Southern California and Texas.

The Whenever, Wherever hit singer said that Cobains song has awakened indescribable feelings in her, and that she had wanted to tie the knot with him the moment she heard it.

I was 14. I saw that blonde guy on TV, and although I couldnt see his face well, I knew that I wanted to marry him. I couldnt get over that song,

I watched the video and ran to the store to buy the album, and it awakened certain feelings in me that I didnt know how to describe, she added.

Shakira says, “The first line I wrote for this new album was, ‘I told you I felt lucky with my humble breasts. Well I’m not.’

“That’s when I was considering going under the knife, but now I’m completely against the idea. But you never know - maybe next year you’ll see me with one side bigger than the other.”

But now she says she is content to be natural, and we applaud Shakira’s stand in favor of natural beauty, an attribute she has in abundance.. no plastic involved.

The WHENEVER, WHEREVER hitmaker, who signed her first record deal with Sony aged 14, insists she has to be strong to continue to succeed in the music industry.

She says, “I’m not a feminist, no. At least I wouldn’t like to hang that sign around my neck.

“I feel very much in touch with the woman in me, but I think I have taken somehow a more masculine approach in life - especially in the way I deal with my affairs.

“And when I say masculine I guess I say aggressive, you know the way I approach my dreams, the way I chase them.”
