The usually big haired blonde Sarah Jessica Parker showed off her brand new dark do, as she left the Serge Normant John Frieda salon in the West village, in NYC yesterday afternoon. Does this mean Carrie Bradshaw is going dark too? I guess we’ll have to wait and see in May, when Sex And The City: The Movie hits cinemas.
Sarah Jessica Parker, her hubby and son are on a Christmas getaway in Hawaii at the moment. The family were spotted leaving their NYC apartment and later seen at JFK boarding a flight to the sunny destination. Meanwhile, SJP, 42, thinks she is too old to have a fashion following. “Often, I’ll go to the market and women will say, ‘Let me see your shoes.’ And then I show them I’m wearing flip-flops. I say, ‘I’m old now. I can’t run around in heels when I go to the market for my son’s yogurt.”
The ladies of Sex and The City are back in their high heels and are having a blast shooting the movie on the streets of Manhattan. They look fabulous! Women in their 40’s can certainly look great without looking plastic (*cough* Teri Hatcher *cough*). From the left: Kristin Davis as Charlotte York, Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbs and last but not least, the fantastic Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones.
These pictures bring a huge smile to my face — Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big are back and more in love than ever! Sex and the City: The Movie recently started shooting and it already has Sarah Jessica Parker running in killer heels on the streets of New York. This time however, she isn’t running off to a business meeting or to the dry cleaners or even to shoe-shop, she is running into the arms of Mr. Big aka Chris Noth. Check out Carrie’s Eiffel Tower handbag — pretty funky, eh?
Sarah Jessica Parker appeared at Steve & Barry’s today, in New York, to launch her new clothing Bitten. Hundreds of women rushed to the mall, where SJP herself appeared and answered questions. She says her clothes are affordable for the average woman, ranging from $20 dresses to $10 tops. The Sex and the City star said she made sure her clothes were affordable because she believes its “every woman’s inalienable right to have a pulled-together, stylish, confident wardrobe with money left over to live.”
“Fashion is not a luxury, it’s a right” — ah, I love it! The former Miss Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker, is only days away from launching her new clothing line Bitten. The launch party has already taken place, which is where the above pictures are from, but you’ll have to wait until June 7th to see it hit the stores and buy some for yourself.

Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker took a swipe at Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. clothing collections while talking about her own debut line, Bitten, in the new issue of Glamour magazine.
Stefani’s designs are “much more avant-garde, definitely high fashion,” Parker opines. “I don’t want to do that for women, because that’s not their lives.”
Parker says her line won’t land you in the poorhouse. “You’re going to be able to buy $200 worth of clothes, leave that store with six bags and be able to pay your utilities and take your kids someplace special for their birthday.”
And Parker knows firsthand what it’s like trying to raise kids on little money. When she was growing up-she was one of eight kids-her family was on public assistance briefly. “I got all of my oldest sister’s hand-me-downs,” Parker tells writer Bob Morris. “And by the time I inherited them, they were really out of fashion.”
Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted by the paparazzi yet again this week, when she went out to dinner in downtown New York on Wednesday night. She doesn’t look too happy about having the paps snapping away right in her face, but she does have a new clothing line to promote (Bitten), so I guess it can also be a good thing that she is getting some attention.
