BFF’s Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie now have another thing in common — they’re both dating a Good Charlotte rocker and a Madden. Richie is of course dating Joel Madden, they have a little girl together, Harlow — And now Hilton is dating Joel’s twin brother Benji Madden.
They were spotted shopping together at Fred Segal yesterday afternoon, and held hands as they walked back to their car. Paris and Benji met through Nicole and began dating shortly before Valentine’s Day, and if “sources close to the couple” are to be believed, they are already getting pretty serious.

Paris Hilton is becoming one of 50 Cent’s hoes — the heiress was rubbing against him, kissing his cheeks, and flashing 50 Cent dollar notes at his party at The Hard Rock in Las Vegas last night. He doesn’t seem to mind too much though. Rub on, Paris.

Paris Hilton is extremely excited and happy for her BFF Nicole Richie, who is four months pregnant with her rocker boyfriend Joel Madden. “She’s really happy,” Paris told People magazine about her pregnant friend at Wednesday’s Helio Ocean launch party (left) in West Hollywood. “I just got off the phone with her. She’s so excited. I know she’s going to be the best mom ever.” Paris added of the expectant parents, “They’re really in love.”

After 5 seasons of The Simple Life, it has been announced by E! Networks that the current season, The Simple Life Goes to Camp, will be the last for the once popular “reality” show. A source at E! tells Us Weekly that overexposure is to blame for the show’s cancellation. “We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show,” says the source. “Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn’t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out.” The insider also added that Nicole Richie became increasingly difficult to work with last season, “Paris carried the show. She was the one willing to do anything, Nicole was the diva.”
The show still has a chance if another network decides to pick it up, however that doesn’t seem to be happening and Paris Hilton has already come to terms with it. “It’s been a great five years and we had so much fun. I’m happy to end it at that,” Paris told reporters at the premiere of Rush Hour 3 on Monday night.

Paris Hilton, who landed in Maui a few days ago, headed to the beach on Friday afternoon for some relaxation time. I think it’s great that Paris chose to get away (although the paparazzi are still a pain) for a while and just relax, away from all the drama in Hollywood. This is exactly what we’ve been wanting Britney Spears to do ever since she divorced Kevin and went all crazy.

It didn’t take long for Paris Hilton to escape to an exotic location, only she didn’t escape the paparazzi. Paris Hilton is now a free woman! An extremely happy and shy looking Miss Hilton walked out of jail Tuesday morning wearing an olive jacket, white shirt and jeans. She waved to a crowd of nearly 200 reporters, photographers and others, and walked up to a waiting Escalade carrying her parents. Hilton was then driven to the Hilton family home in Beverly Hills where “she got to see her parents and her brothers, and to spend time with them,” a family friend tells People magazine. “She was looking forward to a long shower and something to eat – and then to bed.”

Paris Hilton made sure she spent her last night of freedom at a party — the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. Hilton, who reported for jail late last night after the award show, released a statement saying:
“I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation.” “During the past few weeks I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.”
“This is an important point in my life and I need to take responsibility for my actions. In the future, I plan on taking more of an active role in the decisions I make. I want to thank my family, friends and fans for their continued support. Although I am scared, I am ready to begin my jail sentence.”

Who said Paris Hilton’s partying days are over? They’re definitely not. Unlike Lindsay Lohan, Miss Hilton was able to enjoy a graceful, sober night out, whilst having a good time (you don’t need booze to have fun, LL) and she made a new friend. After partying it up at Hollywood hotspot Hyde, Paris and her new friend, Ashley Scott, walked arm in arm from Paris’s car to her house, looking very happy. This is the first time I have seen Paris smile since being sentenced to 45 days in jail (which is now 23 days instead). Keep on smiling, P!

Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation by repeatedly driving with a suspended license.
“Hilton disregarded everything … and didn’t care and kept driving,” said Superior Court Judge Michael Sauer.
Hilton, 26, who, with her parents Kathy and Rick Hilton, was present in the Los Angeles Metropolitan courtroom, looked stunned when the sentence was handed down. Her mother gasped.
“I’m shocked and disappointed at the sentence by the judge,” the hotel heiress’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, said afterwards. “To sentence Paris Hilton to jail is uncalled for, inappropriate and ludicrous. She was singled out for who she is. She’s been selectively targeted. Paris was honest in her testimony. We plan to appeal. Shame on the system.”
Sauer ordered Hilton to report to jail no later than June 5.
