On Harlow’s arrival, Richie says, “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

As for how long she was in labor, Richie says, “I don’t know, because I don’t know what time I actually went into labor, but I pushed for 10 minutes.”

Harlow is absolutely gorgeous, what a cutie!

BFF’s Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie now have another thing in common — they’re both dating a Good Charlotte rocker and a Madden. Richie is of course dating Joel Madden, they have a little girl together, Harlow — And now Hilton is dating Joel’s twin brother Benji Madden.

They were spotted shopping together at Fred Segal yesterday afternoon, and held hands as they walked back to their car. Paris and Benji met through Nicole and began dating shortly before Valentine’s Day, and if “sources close to the couple” are to be believed, they are already getting pretty serious.

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie took a quick break, from all that comes with having a newborn baby, as they left their daughter Harlow at home, while going out for a stroll and some coffee in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon. A little alone time for mom and dad is good and it isn’t the first time the proud parents have left their little girl at home — Joel and Nicole attended Benny Medina’s 50th Birthday Party a few days ago, where Nicole showed off her already flat stomach.

Nicole Richie has given birth!

Nicole and boyfriend Joel Madden are the proud parents of a baby girl, the couple’s rep confirmed to People Magazine.

And the little one already has a name — Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

She was born today (Friday) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.

“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,” says the rep.

Aww, congratulations!

It’s happening! Nicole Richie is in labor right this moment!!

She apparently arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late last night through a secret entrance.

Baby daddy Joel Madden is there too — He was spotted walking into the delivery area of the medical center, and overheard saying “She’s going to start pushing soon.”

Joel’s brother Benji is also there.

Nicole Richie looked super adorable at the Max Azria fashion show earlier today. Although some people seem to think Nicole is faking her pregnancy (c’mon now) I absolutely believe that she is pregnant. She is so lucky to only serve 82 minutes in jail. She’s a free woman now and she’ll be able to enjoy a jail stress-free pregnancy from now on.

Pregnant Nicole Richie had her juice-fix at Jamba Juice in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon. Nicole, looking happy and healthy, and a friend spent the sunny afternoon shopping at trendy boutiques. Nicole seems to be gaining more and more weight, you can tell on her arms and face — keep it up, Nicole.

She got lucky!! Nicole Richie served only 82 minutes of a four-day sentence at Lynwood. Accompanied by her lawyer and boyfriend Joel Madden, Nicole entered the jail in Lynwood, Calif., at 3:15 p.m. for booking, listed at 5′1″ and 105 lbs. She was processed into the system and released at 4:37 p.m., a sheriff’s statement said. “Miss Richie was cooperative during the process,” the statement said.

The statement also said she was released “based on her sentence and federal court guidelines.” Under the current sheriff’s policy, non-violent female offenders sentenced to 30 days or less are booked and released within 12 hours.

Nicole was apparently “treated in the same manner as other inmates with a similar sentence,” the statement said.
