Little Miss Legal gets out of jail early, again!! People reports:
Call it a lucky break for Michelle Rodriguez: The former Lost actress was released from Los Angeles County Jail on Thursday after serving a mere four hours and 20 minutes of her two-month jail sentence.
“Needless to say, our prosecutors are not happy about this,” says a spokesperson for the L.A. City Attorney’s office. “But the sheriffs have a policy to let some nonviolent offenders go early, in part due to jail overcrowding.”
Rodriguez, 27, must perform 30 days of community service and is on two years probation.
The night of her release, the actress was spotted at the Tropicana Bar at the Roosevelt Hotel, and on Monday night at the Hollywood club Shag.
“Michelle’s happy with the way things turned out,” her friend, designer Anand Jon, tells PEOPLE. “She knows this wasn’t a literal get-out-of-jail-free card. Michelle’s taken responsibility for the past and now she’s ready to focus on her career.”
On May 22, Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days in jail for violating probation due to her DUI arrest last December in Hawaii.
In New York City the week before her sentencing, she told PEOPLE, “I’m a gypsy. I can see beauty in a jail cell.”
In April, Rodriguez was sentenced to five days in an Oahu jail for her December 1, 2005, DUI arrest on the island. She served just 65 hours because the time she’d spent in custody after her arrest counted toward her sentence.
So so wrong! Are they waiting for her to kill someone before they are gonna take proper action? Unbelievable!

‘Lost’ star Michelle Rodriguez turned herself in to start serving her jail sentence Thursday — one day after pledging to leave the country once her hard time is done.
Rodriguez will serve 60 days in a Los Angeles jail for a DUI-related probation violation. She showed up at LA Metro Court on Thursday with her lawyer to start her term.
Less than a day earlier, Rodriguez was videotaped walking outside of a book store on Melrose Avenue, where she told photographers she’s not long for the U.S. “I’m moving to France,” she says. “You know, people don’t bother you there. I do what I got to do. Then I leave the country and never come back.”
Sound like little Miss Rodriguez wants people to feel sorry for her. She got busted for DUI TWICE! She could’ve killed somebody. I feel no sympathy for her and I wish she was going to jail for longer.

Michelle Rodriguez hits the street in Beverly Hills Wednesday. She’s got time on her hands: The actress, who served five days in jail for a DUI, was recently killed off of Lost – a move she says was her idea. “I’m a gypsy,” she told TV’s Extra. “I can’t stay in the same place.”

Did ‘Lost’ kill off its two stars with off-screen legal troubles?
In Wednesday night’s episode of the ABC drama, the two characters played by Michelle Rodriguez and Cynthia Watros were gunned down.
In December, Rodriguez and Watros both were arrested for driving under the influence in Hawaii. Both pleaded guilty to the charges and were fined. Additionally, Rodriguez served 65 hours in an Oahu correctional facility and Watros had her license suspended for 90 days.
Although their television fates are up to the show’s writers — it was left hanging on Wednesday whether the characters lived or died — the plot twists immediately raised questions about whether their real-life antics influenced their characters’ futures.
According to the show’s producers, the answer is no. They say the storyline had been planned since last season, well before the DUIs surfaced.
After the actresses had their run-in with the law, producers considered altering the script, knowing that fans would wonder whether the events were related. In the end, they decided to stick to the original plan.

Honolulu, Hawaii :: ‘Lost’ actress Michelle Rodriguez was released from prison Friday morning after spending about 64 hours behind bars.
She was released at about 6:30 a.m. Her release was expedited, according to Oahu Community Correctional Center Warden Nolan Espinda.
A judge on Tuesday gave Rodriguez the choice of a five-day jail sentence or 240 hours of community service for pleading guilty to drunken driving.
Rodriguez was to spend only four calendar days in jail because of time served when she was arrested.
No media were present when she was released. On Thursday, Espinda told KITV that the earliest Rodriguez could get out was 8 a.m. Friday.
Rodriguez turned herself in to the Kaneohe District Court a little after 2 p.m. on Tuesday after receiving a four-day jail sentence. With her release Friday morning, that means she spent less than three full days in prison.
Espinda said Rodriguez wasn’t given special treatment. He said when a person is in custody, any portion of a single day counts as a day.
Espinda says Rodriguez’ release was expedited but he doesn’t know why.
Normally, the inmates that need to be transferred to court go first and then the prison releases happen. Espinda said perhaps that process happened faster than he anticipated.
OCCC’s warden said Rodriguez stayed in a dorm with 60 other female inmates. She ate three times a day and could watch TV and read and she had to keep her area clean, Espinda said. Unlike Rodriguez’ bad girl dramas on “Lost” the warden said the actress’ stay in prison was uneventful and that she acted graciously.
It may not be the last time Rodriguez gets locked up. She faces 18 months in prison at a probation violation hearing next month, stemming from a DUI conviction in California.
Extremely stupid! She deserves to be in there a lot longer. She could’ve killed somebody! And since this is her second DUI charge she is most probably just gonna go out and drive under the influence again! Very very stupid. If you ever see Michelle Rodriguez driving somewhere, I say take another route cause she might just be drunk!

‘Lost’ star Michelle Rodriguez pleaded guilty Tuesday to driving under the influence, and she opted for jail rather than community service.
Rodriguez was given a choice by the Honolulu judge: Either serve 240 hours of community service or five days in jail. Rodgriguez chose the latter.
Rodriguez was ordered to report back to court late Wednesday, where she will be taken into custody and transported to a women’s facility in Oahu, Hawaii.
It was her second DUI. Rodriguez was sentenced to three years probation in June, 2004 by a Los Angeles judge.
The Los Angeles City Attorney went to court in January asking the judge to revoke her probation. She has been ordered to appear for a probation revocation hearing on May 5. The judge could order her to serve more than 16 months in jail.

Sexy Michelle Rodriguez may be a bit too high maintenance for the producers of the ABC hit ‘Lost’ a published report suggests.
The actress that plays Ana-Lucia Cortez will be killed off “as soon as they (can) write it in,” reports Us Weekly.
“The producers are fed up with the fact that she barely shows up on the set and is always in a bad mood,” Us Weekly quoted an “insider” as saying.
“They said she was getting killed off as soon as they could write it in.”
Rodriguez’s spokesperson would not discuss the star’s fate in the show, but insisted the actress was dedicated to the job.
“Michelle is very proud of her work,” the spokesperson said.
The sexy 27-year-old actress is a hit as Ana-Lucia Cortez onscreen but insiders say her diva-like behavior is reportedly sending everyone around the bend.
Characters get killed on the hit show regularly so if this report is true, expect Ana-Lucia Cortez’s demise anytime.
