The lovely Kim Cattrall who plays fabulous Samantha Jones in the upcoming Sex and the City Movie is pictured above being attacked by an animal rights activist while wearing a white fur coat, during filming in New York recently. Her face in the far right picture is hilarious — classic Samantha! Cattrall recently revealed in an interview with British mag Reveal that she is only doing the SATC Movie for the money.

Cattrall famously negotiated hard over payment for the film, and reportedly had a bust up over Parker’s $US3 million salary - twice that of her co-stars. She told Reveal magazine: “It will be nice to step into Samantha’s shoes again, but I’m only doing it for the money. Samantha is very dear to me and I have such a wonderful time playing her, but I can say for experience than wanting financial security. We did it, we did it well. But it was always about the money.” She continued: “When I made a stand about not being in the movie because I thought the money was terrible, there was a backlash of very negative things from some of my co-stars. The role is very much a double-edged sword.”

Cattrall also said viewers can expect her popular character to ring in an important milestone in the upcoming film. She said: “I really wanted Samantha to turn 50 in the film and she does, so I’m grateful for that. I’m glad she isn’t hiding her age. “After 50, you can still be a woman - you can go shopping, have friends and do lunch. At 50 - you can love and be loved.”

Well, at least she’s honest. I’m so glad she’s in the movie, it wouldn’t have been the same without Miss Samantha Jones.

Former ‘Sex And The City’ actress Kim Cattrall is using reportedly her life experiences in a bid to offer advice and guidance to teenage girls in her next book, according to published reports.
After writing best-sellers ‘Satisfaction: The Art Of The Female Orgasm’ and ‘Sexual Intelligence in 2003′ and ‘2005′ respectively, the three time divorced Cattrall is offering less explicit advice to young ladies.

Britain’s Piccadilly Press, who are publishing ‘Everything I Ever Learned About Being A Girl,’ claims Cattrall will be using her “real-life” experiences growing up in Canada and England in order to offer life lessons for the teens.

The publisher says, “It will be like the advice of an older sister. The idea is that Kim will advize teenagers to be cautious, so that they learn from her mistakes.”

Despite the sexual tone of her previous books, Piccadilly insists that Catrall’s latest book will not encourage promiscuity, which Cattrall’s on-screen persona of Samantha Jones is most famous for.

Kim Cattrall is reportedly joining the cast of ‘Desperate Housewives.’

The blonde actress - who played voracious Samantha Jones on ‘Sex and the City’ - will guest star as Edie Britt’s sex-crazed sister on the hit show.

According to Britain’s News of the World newspaper, the star’s character will be even more outrageous than catty Edie.

Last year Kim revealed she blamed ‘Sex and the City’ for the breakdown of her marriage.

The stunning star claimed her now ex-husband Mark Levinson didn’t like the raunchy storylines of her sex-mad character.

She also admitted he was unhappy with the long hours she had to work on the hit show.

She told Britain’s New magazine: “He was a fan of the show, but I think he had problems with some of the episodes and storylines, although I did not feel that way.

“And I was also on a schedule that never stopped; he was 10 years older than me, and I feel maybe it was ultimately quite challenging to him.”
