Kate Hudson revealed at the Hollywood premiere of her new movie with Matthew MacConaughey, Fools Gold, that she could never date her co-star.

Hudson said that love scenes with McConaughey made her laugh and that the two of them “wouldn’t work.”

“The fact that I couldn’t stop laughing [during the love scene] was a bad sign,” she laughed.

“He was making (grunting) sounds that I never heard of. No, Matthew and I wouldn’t work.”

Hudson also seems to be a bit bitter about dating these days, saying “I have no desire [to date].”

“If I go out, it’s like once a month, and I end up in a tabloid with somebody lying about me. It’s not fun, and it’s not worth it.”

Kate Hudson is currently filming her new movie Bachelor No. 2 in Boston and is making sure she has enough free-time to spend with her son Ryder, 3, and new boyfriend Dax Shepard. Hudson, 28, told Harper’s Bazaar recently that maintaining her relationship with ex-husband Chris Robinson was key. “For both Chris and me, our main focus is, and was, Ryder. And happy parents, happy baby,” she says. “Therefore, I love Chris to pieces.”

Since splitting with Owen Wilson, Kate Hudson has been laying low, but was spotted a couple of days ago out and about in Hollywood. She didn’t appear too sad, but rushed to her car when she saw the snappers. Who wouldn’t? I hope Kate didn’t leave her husband so she could be with Owen, that would be one huge slap in the face.

Kate Hudson was spotted a few days ago leaving a New York gym. Kate, who once got quite skinny and was accused of having an eating disorder, is doing a good job of staying in shape and keeping her toned figure.

Kate Hudson, who has given birth by the way, showed off her totally toned stomach as she left her local gym after a workout session a few days ago. Kate, who has said that she used to cry on the treadmill trying to lose the baby weight, has certainly whipped back into shape and is looking great.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson made their first proper public appearance together last week, at the after party for The Wendell Baker Story premiere in Los Angeles.

Kate Hudson paid a quick visit to her (hilarious) mom Goldie Hawn, in Malibu yesterday. I know what Kate is up to, but what is Goldie doing these days? Maybe she is done with the whole acting thing. I’d love to see her in a new comedy film — it’s what she does best! Ah well, I guess we have Kate to make us laugh now.
