Josh Holloway considered leaving wife Yessica Kumala

Lost star Josh Holloway considered dumping his faithful fiancée (now wife) Yessica Kumala in favor of a playboy lifestyle when he found fame.

The actor, who plays Sawyer, began to develop fantasies about becoming a younger Hugh Hefner as his hunky physique attracted the attention of women the world over.

But Holloway, who is now happily married, was too much in love with Yessica to act on his urges.

He tells PageSix.com, “”When Lost took off, part of me thought, ‘Do I cut and run?’ I still like to look around, but respectfully and with no intentions.

“‘Married, not buried,’ I always say. If I were single?… Damn, I’d have one girl doing my laundry, one shaving me, one bringing me a cocktail and another one coming out of my tent all hung over.”

Josh Holloway is riding high these days, as he’s quickly become one of the highest demanded actors, turning down roles left and right… even a leading role opposite Brad Pitt! “As much as that hurts losing those opportunities,” Holloway said. “I wouldn’t trade this for the world.”

Josh has grown to superstardom status playing bad boy Sawyer on “Lost,” and with the success of the show, the movie offers have begun rolling in. Holloway has had to turn some of the roles down, but he just shot his first feature film, “Hellion.”

But Josh’s life isn’t all work. The hunky star plans to spend Valentine’s Day with his beautiful wife, Yessica Kumala. “I love Valentine’s Day,” Holloway said. “It’s a good excuse to really get the lingerie thrown on and sit back and play with chocolate and stuff!”

A romantic at heart, Josh admitted he isn’t all that different from the villain he plays on TV. “I’m not leaving me, I’m simply flipping the script,” he said. “We all have Sawyer in us.”

The actor, who plays Sawyer, thought that his character was too nasty to survive on the island for a long period of time.

“When I read the first script I was like: ‘Oh my God, I might as well not even unpack my bags. He is going to be hated,’” Josh explained during an appearance on US TV.

“They gave me just a tiny bit of humanity and I blew it up as much as I could. I was like: ‘Please be the guy you love to hate, not the guy you hate, because if you’re the guy they hate - you’re going to get axed.’ So I was trying my best to do that and fans responded.”

Ladies, it might be a good idea to start freeing up your Wednesday nights. That’s when ABC’s hit drama, “Lost,” airs and according to In Touch Weekly, the show is home to a lot of eye candy.

The magazine has chosen Josh Holloway, who plays con man Sawyer on the Emmy award-winning series, as TV’s “hottest hunk.” Holloway’s castmate, Matthew Fox, who plays Jack on the show, also made In Touch’s top-10 list, sneaking in at number nine.

In the magazine, Holloway’s “Lost” co-star Evangeline Lilly describes the 36-year-old actor as “the guy who opens doors, carries the bags for women and makes sure they feel protected. It’s a very endearing quality.”
