Lost actor Josh Holloway flew all the way from beautiful Hawaii to New York City to attend the 2007 ABC UpFront party held yesterday.

Though he’s been married to wife Yessica since 2004, resident Lost sex symbol Josh Holloway still talks like a player.

Asked in the March issue of Elle with whom he’d want to be erroneously linked in a gossip column, Holloway, 37, answers, “Jessica Alba.”

But she’s not the only celebrity on his mind: Holloway admits that he’s fantasized about older women, including Barbra Streisand, 64. “And I saw Sophia Loren [now 72] at a restaurant a couple years ago and thought, Wow, I’d still go there.”

He also says he had some good pickup lines in his day: “I’m the king of them.”

His best one, he says, is, “Did it hurt … when you fell out of heaven?” Another: ” ‘Wow, that’s a beautiful dress. I saw one just like it at Kmart.’ See, you gotta make them think they’re all that, and then pull the carpet out from under them.”

Before he met his wife, Holloway says that in relationships, “I’ve done all the dumping, which is not a good thing. It’s funny, because I married someone who has always done it as well. I believe I met my match.”

Not that he didn’t come close to dumping Yessica, 29. “At the very beginning,” he says, “when I felt it getting pretty serious I went, Uh-oh, and wrote the goodbye letter. But then she promptly wrote another letter that trumped it. So I stayed.”

Still, asked which man on Lost he’d sleep with if his life depended on it, he doesn’t hesitate: “Jorge [Garcia, who plays Hurley], because I know at least he’d cuddle me good afterward.”

Shortly after Sunday’s major earthquake in Hawaii, Lost star Josh Holloway and wife Yessica stock up on some essentials near their home in Waikiki.

On hiatus from filming Lost in Hawaii, Josh Holloway hits the mainland with wife Yessica for lunch at Hollywood’s Cafe Med on Wednesday.

I LOVE ‘LOST’ !!

Season 2 of the hit series LOST is coming to an end. With only a few more weeks to go LOST is building up to the big cliffhanger, and I know it’s gonna be a big one this year - just like last year. Personally I think a 3 month break is way too much. What the hell am I gonna watch all summer?

Just 2 years ago, Los Angelenos were on the verge of having Sawyer pushing property at them. Josh Holloway — who plays the simmering, serpent-tongued con man on ABC’s megahit Lost — was that close to having his face on a “for sale” shingle, rather than on the small screen as the most intriguing character on TV’s most intriguing show. The 36-year-old actor had taken the real-estate exam in 2004, because, as he says, he “couldn’t buy an acting job.”

And it’s fun to picture his pitch, delivered in his cocky Georgia drawl: “Ma’am, this joint’s got an ocean view, and the school system’s a peach. I’ll take a 3 percent commission, but I need cash up front. Itty-bitty bills, if you please.” With his shaggy hair, his scruff of a beard, and his sly eyes, you have to wonder if anybody would have trusted him with a down payment. Of course, Holloway in the flesh puts considerable distance between himself and his character: He’s a hell of a lot more gregarious and hilarious than his TV alter ego.
