I have always thought this about Vanessa Minnillo — she wants everything Jessica Simpson once had, including Nick Lachey. A mere few months after Nick and Jessica announced their split, Minnillo appeared in Nick’s music video for What’s Left Of Me. The making of the video was filmed by an MTV crew and Minnillo, who was constantly flirting with Nick, told the cameras that she “would love to take what’s left of Mr. Lachey” — seems like she really meant it.

The two soon started dating, and since then Minnillo has quit her 2 jobs (TRL and Entertainment Tonight) and now has a cosmetics line out, just like Jessica’s Dessert line. Even the freakin’ logos look the same. Now, Minnillo wants her own reality show! Yes, reality show! Newlyweds clearly had a huge impact on Nick and Jessica’s marriage, and since the divorce both have said they would never do it again. Still, Minnillo has her heart set on being famous. “The show would just follow her around in her day,” a source says, adding wryly, “She really wants to be famous.” Minnillo declined to comment recently when asked about her upcoming projects.

She totally wants Jessica Simpson’s old life, and little by little, she’s getting it.

Jessica Simpson has been hitting the gym lately with her personal trainer, and this is the result — Jessica has toned up her body and is looking fab. The singer/actress was pictured a few days ago leaving a restaurant in Hollywood.

Major Movie Star ? I still can’t stand that name, who came up with that? It’s the name of Jessica Simpson’s new movie, which is set to start shooting in July. Anyway, Jess is pictured above leaving the gym in Beverly Hills with her personal trainer. I don’t really understand why celebrities always need personal trainers. I know they can afford it, but what’s the point? When you join a gym, a trainer shows you how to use each machine and tells you what areas it works out. From there all you have to do is figure out what areas you want to work on, and do it. Not exactly rocket science!

Jessica Simpson is a little night owl. Miss Simpson and her hairstylist Ken Paves (not pictured) were spotted arriving at West Hollywood hotel Sunset Marquis at 3am this morning. I wonder what/who made them want to go there in the middle of the night.

A solo Jessica Simpson headed out for some food last night at the Swing Grill in Hollywood. After the meal, Jess emerged looking happy and casual, wearing jeans, hoodie and a cap.

Sweet Jessica Simpson is, sadly, single again. John Mayer, who apparently has commitment issues, has once again dumped the poor girl after a disastrous Memorial Day weekend together in Mexico. Despite being heartbroken, Jessica was spotted, looking adorable, leaving a private party in Hollywood a couple of days ago. She had no comments for the waiting snappers, but did manage to muster up a little smile.

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer, who recently split but are now back together, spent the Memorial Day weekend together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they rented a $2,400 dollar-a-night ocean-front villa. The pictures show John and Jess (and Jessica’s dog Daisy, on John’s lap) having a heart-to-heart, which leads to John “storming” off, and Jessica is left on the balcony crying. Nobody really knows what they were talking about or if Jessica was really crying, but they sure don’t look happy.
