Jessica Simpson may end up writing a monthly paycheck to ex-husband Nick Lachey, as he is seeking spousal support from his divorcing wife Jessica Simpson.

And yes, he wants his jewelry back. Now, that’s masculine!

Under California law, the couple who didn’t sign a prenuptial agreement, must divide their assets in half. With Jessica Simpson earning way much more than Nick, things could turn really nasty.

Nick Lachey is currently working on a TV pilot where he will play a divorced baseball player.

However, things turned for Jessica Simpson much favorably. Newlyweds star enjoyed multi-platinum album sales, endorsement deals with Pizza Hut and Proactiv Solutions. Jessica Simpson started her clothing line, beauty line and - most recenrly - shoes line. With an estimated income of $35 million last year, Jessica Simpson ranks at #64 on Forbes’ most powerful celebrities list.

Jessica Simpson earlier asked the court not to grant Lachey spousal support.

Jessica Simpson is furious her reality show NEWLYWEDS: NICK AND JESSICA left her with a ‘dumb blonde’ image - because she was only following a script.

The actress - now newly single following her November (05) split from NICK LACHEY - blames show bosses for making her look stupid.

She says, “People should know there was a script of sorts and I just played that role.

According to US WEEKLY, they’ve uncovered a NEW CHEATING BOMBSHELL.. SCANDAL! .. SHE WAS WITH ANOTHER MAN WHILE MARRIED… NOW SHE’S BACK WITH THE SAME BAD BOY ROCKER AS NICK LEARNS THE TRUTH.

A bit wordy for our taste, but let’s take a look inside… on page 56, US WEEKLY announces IN 2004, SIMPSON HAD A HUSH-HUSH FLING WITH ADAM LEVINE….JESSICA’S NAUGHTY SECRET.

You can read the details for yourself but here’s the best part – according to the story: “Two night earlier (February 9, 2006), Simpson joined him (Adam) in his room (at the Chateau Marmont), remaining after guests left. Later, according to a hotel insider, security paid the couple a visit after a guest complained of loud, amorous noises coming from the room.” (TABLOID TUESDAY is shocked – and slightly aroused! But don’t get too excited (too late!). Over at STAR, the cover has a WORLD EXCLUSIVE … JESSICA & JUDE LAW … HOT & HEAVY! … STEAMY HOTEL ROMP! … SEXY TEXT MESSAGES! … REVEALED! (Oh, oh – here’s a !!! alert.)

Turning to page 46, the headlines announce JUDE & JESSICA’S HOT NEW HOOKUP… According to the story from someone who had a friend staying at the Chateau Marmont, “My friend was staying for a few days over the weekend of Feb 3,” a source tells Star. One night, an amazing couple walked into the room next door – it was Jessica Simpson and Jude Law. My friend had seen them around the hotel over the entire weekend – but to see them going into the same room together was a shock!”….Around 2a.m., according to the source, the guest was wrenched out of a deep sleep and had to call downstairs to the hotel’s management to ask for a change of rooms. Why? “She told me the people next door were very loud,” the source says. “She told me, ‘There was banging on the wall and loud noises behind my bed. It lasted half an hour, and it was impossible for me to get any sleep.”

So it seems the only thing these two tabs agree on is that Jessica was having a hell of good time in a room at the Chateau Marmont with….. someone. Jessica Simpson has launched her latest project, a glamorous collection of fab footwear. The collection is made by Camuto Group in Greenwich, CT and New York, the company that holds the master license to the Jessica Simpson fashion line.
The shoes will be sold in major department stores including Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Parisian, Marshall Field, Lord and Taylor, and Belk ranging in price from $60-$160.

Simpson has gotten her first celebrity endorsement for her footwear line in the shape of pint-sized Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria.

The Latina actress reportedly has asked for boots inspired by Simpson’s These Boots (Were Made For Walkin) video.

Simpson says, “My friend Eva Longoria asked for them in every color.”

Both Jessica and Ashlee Simpson have been hit with a bill from hip photographer David LaChapelle for $10,000.

LaChapelle fell out with the sisters after they cancelled a photo shoot for Rolling Stone last year. The photographer was left outraged and has since ripped the sisters to pieces in the press.

Speaking to Pagesix.com he ranted: “They’re everything that’s wrong with music.

“Out of everything combined, they’re everything wrong with culture, and everything wrong with art, and what we think of as art and musical culture - in one family!

“We were going to try and make the Simpson’s look cool. I realise now that is an impossible task.”

However, the Simpson’s, although they could easily afford the bill are not taking any shit. They have hit back saying they were uncomfortable with LaChapelle’s raunchy ideas.

A friend told the publication: “He started making demands that made her uncomfortable telling her the shot was going to be down and dirty and in a bar with snakes like she was Paris Hilton.

“She has to protect her image - and he was going to kill it. They had no idea they were going to be attacked like that.

“And now to get a $10,000 bill? No way are they ever going to pay that. He will not see a dime from them. They didn’t sign any contracts.”

Jessica Simpson and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine first became romantically involved in 2004, according to two eyewitness who have come forward with shocking new revelations.

Although Simpson and husband Nick Lachey battled infidelity rumours throughout their marriage, new information seems to confirm the marriage was in trouble long before the couple separated in November 2005.

According to photographer Andrew Sweeney and reporter Lisa Ladabouche, Simpson and Levine got together after they both performed at a concert in Boston, Massachusetts, for radio station Kiss 108 FM in May 2004.

Simpson was attending the concert without her husband, who was on holiday in Fiji with his brother, Drew.

Sweeney and LadaBouche, who were covering the concert for local paper, The Raw Story, tell American publication Us Weekly they witnessed the two singers kissing in a VIP area backstage.

Sweeney says, “They were backstage flirting. He was touching her hand. And then they just leaned in and started going at it, making out. Not horribly, like teenage making out, but like adults, little kisses.”

LadaBouche agrees with Sweeney saying, “I definitely saw them kissing. It was a shock - especially knowing her husband was away. And she’s supposed to be this innocent figure.”

After the concert, members of Maroon 5 and the Backstreet Boys, who had also performed at the show, went to local Boston nightclub Saint, for an afterparty, where the celebrity couple continued to get cozy.

Saint owner Brian Lesser confirms, “Jessica and Adam were sitting next to each other. I think that was the beginning of it all.”
