Jessica Alba, who recently dumped her boyfriend, promoted her new comedy Good Luck Chuck at the 2007 Comic-Con International Held at the San Diego Convention Center.

After two-and-a-half years together, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren have split. The 26-year-old actress broke up with Warren, a 28-year-old producer, last week over the phone, sources tell Us Weekly.

Sources tell Us that Alba, who was abroad over the weekend promoting Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, called Warren on July 22 and told him, “I’m not in love with you anymore.”

Within hours, Alba had dispatched an assistant to the L.A. home they shared to pack up Warren’s belongings and move him out. Ouch!

Warren and Alba met on the set of Fantastic Four in 2005, when Warren (a Yale grad) was the assistant to the film’s director, Tim Story.

The breakup “happened…almost out of nowhere,” the source says. “Cash thinks it’s for another guy but doesn’t know….he’s totally devastated. But it was all her.” (Alba’s rep declined to comment.)

In 2005, a few months into her relationship with Warren, the actress told Cosmopolitan magazine that she could see herself settling down with her new boyfriend for good.

“He might The One,” she said in the magazine’s March 2005 issue. “The first week that we kind of got together, he gave me a note and signed it with a dollar sign, because his name is Cash. It just said, ‘I really, really like you.’ And that was exactly how I felt at the time.”

Alba admitted that her feelings for Warren scared her because they were so strong. “I hated it because it was terrifying that I cared about him so much right away and I already wanted him to be around forever.”

Jessica Alba, who has spent most of her summer in Europe, is back in France again and was spotted signing autographs outside her hotel as she was leaving for an event. Meanwhile, Jessica and her boyfriend Cash Warren are reportedly planning on buying a place in New York City. A friend of Alba’s told the New York Daily News newspaper: “They love visiting New York and have decided to have a second home here. Jessica wants to have a cosy place to stay, since she finds herself working and shopping in New York all the time.” Last year, Alba claimed she was planning to quit Hollywood and move to the city so she could star in more independent films and spend more time with Cash. She said at the time: “It’s something I have been considering. Just being an actress and being in a relationship is tough – I don’t recommend it.”

A cute and casual looking Jessica Alba went on a shopping spree with friends in Paris yesterday afternoon. Alba has been spending time in France lately to promote the new Fantastic Four movie, appear at fashion shows, and to attend Eva Longoria’s wedding.

Eva Longoria’s celebrity pals have started to arrive in France, for her wedding to Tony Parker tomorrow. Desperate Housewives co-star Teri Hatcher (below) and friend Jessica Alba (below) attended Eva and Tony’s pre-wedding party yesterday, which was held on a boat along the Seine river in Paris.

Jessica Alba is back in the states following her promotional tour for Fantastic Four - Rise of the Silver Surfer. Alba and her boyfriend, Cash Warren, were spotted leaving their midtown hotel in New York City a couple of days ago. Jessica’s doing the whole “I’m on the phone, don’t talk to me” thing, to avoid having to deal with the many weird questions paparazzi always ask — celebrities are getting smart! On a side note, I went to the cinema yesterday, saw Rise of The Silver Surfer, and it was actually pretty good! Much better than the first one. I quite enjoyed it — worth checking out!

It’s that busy time of year again for all the actors starring in big summer movies. Fantastic Four’s Jessica Alba has been all over Europe promoting the sequel, and is currently in London. Alba and the rest of the cast were taken up the London Eye where they did interviews and pictures for the press. She doesn’t look too impressed.

I actually only saw Fantastic Four last night (a bit late, I know), and I thought it was alright. The comedy parts were great, but the “serious” parts were oh so cheesy. I will check out the sequel though, for sure.
