Hilary Duff and some of her gal pals headed out for ice cream late Tuesday night. Duff and her friends ran out of Baskin Robbins giggling, before jumping into the car and driving home again. Hilary looks cute dressed all comfy!

Hilary Duff is definitely not ready to get married, she tells us in the new issue of Cosmopolitan.

Speaking of how many young celebrities get hitched, Hilary says “I’m definitely not ready to get married. I think a reason that people in this business get married young is that they feel like everything comes to them sooner in life. It’s normal to be like ‘Okay, what’s next?’”

Hilary, 20, who is dating hockey star Mike Comrie, also spoke about body image in the Cosmo interview, saying “There definitely was a time, about a year and a half ago, when I was pretty obsessed with my body and my weight. It’s not attractive when girls get super-skinny. Guys don’t like it. Girls don’t like you as much. You lose some happiness when that’s all you think about,” she said.

Hilary Duff, who was left heartbroken after Joel Madden and Nicole Richie started dating shortly after her relationship with Madden ended, acted mature when she found out her ex and his new love are expecting a baby. “After they appeared on Good Morning America, Hilary breezily texted Joel congratulations on the pregnancy, and Joel warmly responded,” a source tells Us Weekly.

Us Weekly thinks Hilary Duff looks so good that she was chosen for the cover of their first annual swimsuit issue. In the issue Hilary speaks out about her battle to lose the pounds and how she took it too far. When Hilary was 15 she came across an article criticizing her for her weight. “It made me obsessed,” she tells Us Weekly of the story that drove her into a hard-core diet and exercise binge. “I would beat myself up if I had some fat.”

But when the 5-foot-2 star’s weight plummeted to around 100 pounds in 2005 (down from 130 in 2003), her sister Haylie, 22, finally intervened. “She said, ‘Why are you being so strict with yourself?’It was like an awakening,” says Duff, who eased up on her rigorous program. “I don’t want to be so skinny that people are like, Oh my god, she’s lost a lot of weight.”

Now, at 19, Duff tells Us that she’s content at 109 pounds. “As you get older, you just get more comfortable in your own skin.”

Hilary Duff seems to have a big mouth these days, never turning down the opportunity to comment on a fellow famous person. This time Duff spoke to Blender magazine about how she feels, or more like doesn’t feel, about Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

On Lindsay and Britney: “I don’t want to feel sorry for them, because I don’t. I feel sorry that they have to deal with so many people wanting to focus on their flaws and hard times. But that’s the business.”

Ouch! But I can’t say that I disagree, why feel sorry for Lindsay and Britney?

Hilary Duff walked the red carpet at last night’s 9th Annual Young Hollywood Awards held in LA. Meanwhile, Hilary recently opened to Cosmo Girl magazine about her break-up with Joel Madden.

“Joel was my boyfriend for two years and I loved him–he was a very important part of my life. All that stuff about the age difference between us being the reason we broke up is just not true; I never felt the age difference. Breaking up was just something that I felt needed to happen between us. People thought we were an unlikely couple, but we really weren’t that different. After two months, I didn’t even see his tattoos anymore, because that’s not who he is. He used to say, ‘I don’t think there are too many people out there who really get you, but I do.’ And he did. I could be stupid, silly, funny, or crazy, and he got it. He gave me a sense of confidence and independence I didn’t have before. We e-mail all the time now and are at a really good place.”

Hilary Duff not singing about Nicole Richie

Hilary Duff was spotted earlier this week leaving club Element with friends. Aside from partying, Hilary has spent time promoting her new album, Dignity, and has laughed off reports that she is slamming Nicole Richie and Joel Madden in some of her new songs.
Hilary says; “I’ve read that Gypsy Woman and Stranger are about Nicole but they’re not - they are about my parents.

“I want Joel to be happy, and if she makes him happy… Obviously he’s going to find someone else, like I’m going to do.”
