Gwen Stefani rocked at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week where she showed off her L.A.M.B Spring 2008 collection. Stefani brought cute little Kingston, who was wearing huge earmuffs, on stage with her as she received big applause from the audience, which included Sophia Bush, P Diddy and Eve. Apart from her popular fashion line, Gwen has a new fragrance out called L (for Love) — check out the cool advert for it below, that features Gwen’s awesome song Wonderful Life.
Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale unknowingly fathered his teenage daughter, Daisy Lowe, 18 years ago, and when news broke it reportedly tested their relationship, but as we all know, they are now stronger than ever and have their adorable little son, Kingston, to prove it. However, Gavin’s ex and mother of Daisy, Pearl Lowe, is now releasing a book about her adventures in the British rock scene of the nineties, a scene in which Rossdale prominently figured. Pearl has no nice words to say about Gavin, branding him “incredibly vile” and “rude” to his/their daughter. Excerpts below:
On when she and Rossdale first had an inkling of daughter Daisy’s paternity:
“Gavin [who was already in Daisy’s life as her Godfather] came to me saying I think we need to find this out. But when we set up meetings to have DNA tests he didn’t show up. And it got weird and he stopped returning my calls.”
Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker took a swipe at Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. clothing collections while talking about her own debut line, Bitten, in the new issue of Glamour magazine.
Stefani’s designs are “much more avant-garde, definitely high fashion,” Parker opines. “I don’t want to do that for women, because that’s not their lives.”
Parker says her line won’t land you in the poorhouse. “You’re going to be able to buy $200 worth of clothes, leave that store with six bags and be able to pay your utilities and take your kids someplace special for their birthday.”
And Parker knows firsthand what it’s like trying to raise kids on little money. When she was growing up-she was one of eight kids-her family was on public assistance briefly. “I got all of my oldest sister’s hand-me-downs,” Parker tells writer Bob Morris. “And by the time I inherited them, they were really out of fashion.”

Baby Kingston was born in May 2006 and Stefani immediately set about losing her pregnancy pounds. “It’s so much work afterward to get the weight off,” she says. “If you just do it, it comes off. And when you’re nursing, like I am, your metabolism is like whoosh!”
Still, Stefani admits that she struggled to keep her size 4 figure even before her pregnancy. “I hate talking about it, but it’s true,” she says. “I’ve always been on a diet, ever since I was in the sixth grade. It’s an ongoing battle and it’s a nightmare. But I like clothes too much, and I always wanted to wear the outfits I would make.” She adds with a laugh: “And I’m very vain.”
She says she contents herself with “all the healthy stuff” most of the time, “but I let myself cheat once or twice a day with a cookie or pizza.”

New mother Gwen Stefani has revealed the extraordinary lengths to which she went in order to shed her baby weight.
The singer kept up her grueling exercise regime until two weeks before the birth of son Kingston.
And she regained her pre-pregnancy figure in just three months with the help of a personal trainer. Stefani, 37, told Elle magazine: “I worked out with my trainer throughout the whole pregnancy until about two weeks before.
“I cried during my last session. I was like, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t do this any more. What am I doing?’ It was crazy. All of my life I’ve had to work hard to stay in shape. I’ve always struggled with it.
“I was a little chubby when I was younger and I didn’t want to be that person forever. I’m extremely vain - I like wearing cute clothes.”
Kingston, her son by husband Gavin Rossdale, is now eight months old. Stefani said of her mission to get thin again: “There aren’t any tricks, it’s simple maths - you put this much food in, you burn that much working out.
“I gave myself three months - but if I didn’t have an album coming out, there’s no way I would have got back into shape in that time. I worked out with my trainer five days a week, with weekends off. I would really recommend doing weights.”
The former No Doubt star said the size zero trend “sucks”. But she admitted to an obsession with her weight.
“Clearly, I spend time thinking about it and it’s something I’ve had to deal with in my life. As I get older I try not to focus on it. It’s boring, it’s a waste of life. What I have learned is that whether I’m fatter or thinner, people seem not to mind, they like me either way. It’s more in your own mind than anyone else’s.”
