Former Friends actress Courteney Cox-Arquette has defended her decision to base a character, on the second season of her show Dirt, on troubled Britney Spears. Cox plans to use Britney’s antics — including her divorce and custody battle, and her bizarre head-shaving incident — as inspiration for the show’s second season. But Cox — an executive producer on the show — claims Spears shouldn’t take offense. She says, “This is not an attack on Britney. I am not out to offend anyone.”

Courteney Cox’s cute little daughter Coco doesn’t seem to mind the presence of the paparazzi, but mommy doesn’t look too pleased. The cutie gave the paps a cheeky little smile as they hand in hand walked home after Courteney picked up the little cutie from daycare.

Aside from taking care of her daughter, Courteney is spending time helping best friend Jennifer Aniston renovate her new home. According to a source, Courteney’s primary advice: Think bigger! “When the house is finished, Jen will have a huge pool area, more privacy, two extra bedrooms and a killer office-den.” The source added, “The new plans are costing Jen almost $3 million, but she trusts Courteney’s instincts.” $3 million?? Yikes! But since the cost of the actual house was $15 million, I’m sure Jennifer can afford it.

Jen is so over Hollywood

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly so sick of Hollywood and everything about it, that she is looking for places to live in her hometown of New York City. Aniston reportedly also thinks that men are easier to find in New York. “Jennifer is dying to move to New York City,” an Aniston friend says. “She thinks she can meet smart and cultured guys in New York,” says another source close to the actress. Moving now wouldn’t be a bad idea for Jen, who “is over Hollywood and the whole scene,” according to the source.
