Make-Up a Must for Aguilera

Christina Aguilera will never leave the house without make-up because it’s her ‘armor’ against the paparazzi and the public. The singer claims she would feel too exposed if she went out without being made up and needs it to feel confident.

She explains, “The red lips are - I don’t want to call them armor, but they’re the clothes of my character and I’m in the business of entertainment. I am a woman who has my extremely vulnerable side and my baggage - and at times I feel extremely weak. And who’s to say a little mascara doesn’t make you feel more confident when you pop it on and look in the mirror?

“It helps, especially in my position, where I have people waiting down the street to take pictures of me so they can evaluate and criticize every little flaw on my face. I suppose that’s where the armor would come into the picture!”

Christina Aguilera Tricked Into Wearing Fur

Anti-fur advocate Christina Aguilera is furious with designer Roberto Cavalli after he tricked her into wearing real fur onstage. The Italian couturier is designing all the outfits for the singer’s current world tour, and was reportedly instructed by Aguilera not to include any real animal fur.

But Cavalli admitted to magazine Women’s Wear Daily he sent her a stole made from real white fox fur, which she subsequently slipped on to perform gigs in Europe.

Aguilera was tipped off by PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) vice president Dan Mathews, who sent her an email with a link to a video showing foxes getting killed by anal electrocution for their fur.

The singer quickly replied, saying she was “very upset” insisting she “only ever wears fake fur”. She has now replaced the stole for a fake fur version, in time for gigs in Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic this month.

Aguilera Shops for Britney’s Boys

Christina Aguilera has grown so fond of 15-month-old Sean Preston and three-month-old Jayden James, that she has been Christmas shopping for them.

The one-time rivals have buried the hatchet, as Christina called Nina Takesh, co-owner of hip Los Angeles baby boutique ‘Petit Tresor,’ to order presents for the two boys, reports The Bosh.

According to US People magazine Christina told Takesh: “I want to give them something adorable for the colder weather”.

The ‘Beautiful’ singer, 25, - who is currently on tour in Europe - chose two blue cashmere schoolboy sweaters for 129 dollars each.

Earlier this month, Hilton had admitted to have developed a special liking for the two tots, insisting she can’t wait to play with her own after playing “auntie” to Sean and Jayden.

She stood astride a prone male dancer, tossing her platinum locks and shaking her booty, encased in skin-tight mini-dress. The screens behind her flashed up newspaper headlines: “From Dirrty To Demure”, “From Party Life To Housewife”.

But Christina Aguilera was bellowing her disagreement: “I still got the nasty in me. Still got that dirty degree.”

Despite being happily married, she is, so the song assured us, “Still Dirrty”. Her foxier-than-thou attitude made her the anti-Britney of pop, and she is loath to relinquish this unique selling point.

Yet this gale-force show let us know that, even without the raw sex, Aguilera is the uber-diva - earthier than Beyoncé, lustier than Mariah and not carrying all the silly intellectual baggage of Madonna.

Christina The Down to earth Diva

I have to say I’m impressed. Diva Christina Aguilera carried her own luggage as she left for JFK airport and as she arrived into London Heathrow. All without a huge entourage in tow too. Marriage really does seem to be making Christina more down to earth.
