Carmen Electra unveiled a new darker look at the 2007 ESPY Awards, held yesterday in Hollywood, CA. When talking to reporters on the red carpet at the event, Carmen was asked about ex-hubby Dave Navarro and says they are staying close, “we talk on the phone all the time, almost every day. It’s been great because we’ve been able to stay friends.” Carmen says it makes perfect sense to remain close to her former flame, with whom she starred on the MTV reality show Til Death Do Us Part. “We were friends to begin with. Why wouldn’t you want to stay friends with someone that you share such a big part of your life with?” Asked if she’s dating anyone new, Electra said: “No, just being single.”

When celebrities get divorced or split up, they usually say they will “remain friends”, but hardly ever is that true. However, Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro meant what they said. The exes bumped into each other at the “A Time For Heroes” Benefit, held yesterday in Westwood CA. The two seemed happy and excited to see each other, and Dave gave Carmen a big and warm hug. Aww!

The gorgeous Carmen Electra made an appearance last night at the Hot Hollywood 2007 event. Carmen recently revealed to Sunday magazine that she has a little girlie crush on British model Kate Moss. Electra says “She’s gorgeous. I’m the kind of girl who can tell another woman if I think she is beautiful, and Kate is. She has a great sense of style and everyone looks up to her. She’s really cool.”

Diaz Slams Hawaiian Holiday Home Reports

Actress Cameron Diaz has slammed rumors she has purchased a multi-million dollar love nest in Hawaii with boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

According to some media reports, the couple, who have been dating for nearly four years, recently purchased a beach-front estate on the tropical island of Oahu for $25 million.

But Diaz tells Self magazine jokingly, “I wouldn’t buy anything for less than $35 million! No! Who has $25 million to spend on a vacation house? That’s insanity!”

Reports claimed the pair purchased the home because of their intense love of surfing, which Diaz describes as “a truly religious experience.”

She adds, “Ushering a wave that’s traveled across the world into the shore is amazing. I don’t care if I get to do it just two days a year, I have to be in the water. It’s balancing.”

Although Diaz does love to surf in Hawaii, she insists that while she’s on vacation there she stays in a hotel or rents a house.

What is it like being single again?
It’s been fun because I’ve had more time to hang out with my friends. I think sometimes when you’re in relationships you don’t really have the time because you’re working and then your focus is on your boyfriend or your husband. A lot of times we sort of push our friends to the side a little bit, which I think is a natural thing. It’s just nice to reconnect and do fun stuff and have sleepovers, dancing, fun girl stuff.

Is there anyone you have your eye on?
No. I’m not looking. I just want to be alone for awhile. But it’s scary you know? And you feel lonely, you want to grab onto something, but then you’re not really dealing with the experience. You’re just looking for a distraction. I want to feel the experience. I want to feel present.

How do you feel the MTV show Carmen + Dave: Till Death Do Us Part impacted your relationship with Dave?
Dave and I have actually sat down and talked about it because people do ask us that question a lot. And we don’t regret having our show on MTV. We love MTV. It was an experience, and we’ll have that experience forever. We have it documented.

Do you and Dave still talk?
We’re still really good friends. I don’t regret it. You don’t know why you choose to do things sometimes, but it’s all part of the bigger plan and you just kind of go with it. Not everything always works out, but we’re still friends. That’s all that matters.

Tell Us about your new weight loss pill NV.
It’s a beauty supplement. It’s for your hair, your skin and your nails. It has collagen in it. I get excited because I’m such a girly-girl with products. I love anything that’s good for your skin. It also has green tea in it, and other supplements that help suppress your appetite, but it’s all-natural. I just love working in the beauty arena.

Have you experienced weight loss or any changes?
No, but my goal wasn’t to lose weight. I don’t want to lose any more weight. I think about two years ago I was able to get those extra five pounds off, but I’ve really worked hard to maintain this weight without pushing it too far.

And what about your new book?
I’m excited about it! It’s all about how to be sexy, fashion tips and dating tips. Just tips on flirting and how to bat your eyes and lick your lips, little subtle things that you can do to show someone you’re interested in them. You know, it’s campy and it’s fun.
