Justin and Cameron’s Late Night Reunion

Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz have met up in Hollywood following their break up last month. Timberlake was in a hotel with a group of friends, including Oscar-nominated director Martin Scorsese, when Diaz arrived. The two were then seen chatting for half an hour, before leaving together.

“Cameron never joined their table,” an observer told People magazine. “She just showed up and Justin got up and started talking to her. They were being very discreet. They weren’t kissing or holding hands or anything, but they were being very friendly.”

“When I first saw this girl, I thought, ‘That’s not Scarlett Johansson or Jessica Biel,’” the source added. “Then it hit me – it was Cameron! She was low-key; her hair was dark and pulled back.”

Cameron Diaz Wins Case Against Tabloid

Cameron Diaz has settled a lawsuit against the National Enquirer for a “substantial” amount of damages. In 2005, the tabloid alleged Diaz had had an affair with a married MTV producer while involved with then-beau Justin Timberlake. Photos of the actress in an alleged “smooching session” with Trippin’ producer Shane Nickerson accompanied the story, which was posted on the Enquirer’s website but removed after Diaz complained.

“The National Enquirer now accepts that the photographs do not show Ms. Diaz and Mr. Nickerson kissing or in a passionate clinch, accepts that the relevant incident involved no more than Ms. Diaz giving a friend a goodbye hug and that any suggestion of a romantic involvement is entirely untrue and without substance,” said the actress’s lawyer. The Enquirer has “apologized unreservedly” for any distress caused to those involved.

A source told People magazine, “He’s trying to have a good time… He is in no way looking to be in a relationship. He’s single and happy.” Biel is reported to be the source of a well-publicized spat between Timberlake and recent ex Cameron Diaz at Prince’s Golden Globes afterparty, where Biel told Timberlake’s mom, “He is sooo cute!”

Justin & Cameron’s Post-Globes Spat

Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz, who announced last week that they’d split up, got into a heated argument at Prince’s Golden Globes afterparty early Tuesday morning.

The exes, who’d chatted politely during the awards ceremony and even shared laughs at InStyle’s annual afterparty, hit the rough patch in their officially amicable breakup at a wee-hours bash hosted by the singer at the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

According to witnesses, Timberlake was chatting with actress Jessica Biel when Diaz approached. Biel stepped away, and the former couple had a serious exchange.

Diaz walked away, Timberlake followed, and the two were soon spotted engaged in an intense 40-minute face-off in a side room.

Diaz reemerged looking composed, but not before Timberlake held his head in his hands and, says a witness, “slammed his fist (down) into a cabinet.”

After almost four years together, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake have called it quits, the couple said in a statement Thursday.

“It has always been our preference not to comment on the status of our relationship, but, out of� respect for the time we’ve spent together, we feel compelled to do so now, in light of recent speculation and the number of inaccurate stories that are being reported by the media,” the pair said. “We have, in fact, ended our romantic relationship, and have done so mutually and as friends, with continued love and respect for one another.”
