Everyone knows this by now, Britney made a “surprise” performance yesterday at the House of Blues. The show lasted 14 minutes and Britney lip synched all the tracks and didn’t say a word to the audience.

…this is what happens! What on earth is she wearing?! She looks like a stripper. And the funny thing is, in these pictures she is actually out clothes shopping for her kids. Hopefully she has better taste when it comes to dressing her two little boys - or they’d look like pimps.

Hilary Duff seems to have a big mouth these days, never turning down the opportunity to comment on a fellow famous person. This time Duff spoke to Blender magazine about how she feels, or more like doesn’t feel, about Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

On Lindsay and Britney: “I don’t want to feel sorry for them, because I don’t. I feel sorry that they have to deal with so many people wanting to focus on their flaws and hard times. But that’s the business.”

Ouch! But I can’t say that I disagree, why feel sorry for Lindsay and Britney?

Britney Spears has been working her butt (and her stomach) off to get back into her pre-pregnancy shape — and it has paid off! Britney looked great (minus the outfit) as she left the Millennium Dance Studios a couple of days ago. What a show off! Well done, Brit.

According to Flynet, Britney Spears and her cousin drove about a 100miles from Brit’s Beverly Hills house, to Redlands where they stopped at a Del Taco drive-thru. Britney must have really wanted those fries!

Ever since shaving her head, Britney Spears has not been seen without a hat on. I guess I can understand that she may be worried her wig is going to fly off (although a hat can fly off too), but if she really wanted to, she could spend a little more than $10 and go out and buy a proper wig. It seems that Brit enjoys the fact that she can change the style, length and color of her hair on a daily basis. Yesterday Brit was caught leaving the Beverly Glen in Bel Air after a quick tanning session. Not very smart going to a tanning salon every single day. Go home, take your kids out in the garden, soak up the real sun, and play with your kids. I’d love to see Britney doing that. Why is she constantly out and about with her cousin? It seems the thing Brit missed the most being in rehab, was shopping.

Britney Spears has gone from happy and talkative to upset and quiet. The last week or so Britney has been chatting away to the paparazzi and has seemed very happy, but yesterday she was anything but. On Friday morning Britney woke up to see herself mentioned in the papers, in a negative light, by her own father. Whether or not that is why she looked so sad and didn’t speak, when the snappers caught her leaving a tanning salon, we don’t know, but it could well be.

Britney Spears and her father, Jamie Spears, have, sadly, started a public battle. Britney’s dad released a statement to the New York Post’s PageSix yesterday admonishing his daughter and showing support for her manager Larry Rudolph.

“When Larry Rudolph talked Britney into going into rehab, he was doing what her mother, father and team of professionals with over 100 years of experience knew needed to be done.”

“She was out of control. Larry was the one chosen by the team to roll up his sleeves and deliver the message, to help save her life.. The Spears family would like to publicly apologize to Larry for our daughter’s statements about him over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, she blames him and her family for where she is at today with her kids and career. Larry has always been there for Britney. For this, we will forever be grateful to him.”

In response, Britney released the following statement through her rep:

“I am praying for my father. We have never had a good relationship. It’s sad that all the men that have been in my life do not know how to accept a real woman’s love. I am concentrating on my work and my life right now.”

Justin Timberlake admits he recently called ex-girlfriend Britney Spears to make sure she was okay. “I called her because I was worried about her,” Justin said during a press junket for Shrek the Third. “She’s a great woman. I’m rooting for her. It seems like she’s getting everything under control now.”

Britney Spears is back in LA — did you know she had even left? Well, apparently Britney spent a weekend away in Las Vegas, where she reportedly got some lipo dissolve done. Back in LA, Britney and her cousin (not pictured) went shopping for perfume and kid’s clothing.
