Jennifer Garner’s Diamond Disaster

Jennifer Garner was mortified when a ring husband Ben Affleck gave her disappeared down a drain and ended up under their home. The star was preparing for the debut of her new film when she dropped the diamond ring on the floor and it rolled under a large ice machine.

She explains “I was getting ready to go to the premiere of Catch And Release and the hair’s going here and the make-up’s going there and I was playing with this ring that Ben gave me for the birth of the child.

“You get a ring now or something wonderful, he’s very generous. So he gave me this beautiful diamond ring and I was playing with it and it fell onto the ground and it fell into the drain under the ice-maker. A plumber had to come while I’m getting ready to go and dismantle the thing from under the house - and he found it! A happy ending!”

Affleck Regrets Lopez Engagement

Ben Affleck admits his very public engagement to Jennifer Lopez was a mistake and that he is relieved they never went through with it. The high profile couple ended their high-profile relationship just months after the wedding was called off at the last minute. “I should have never got engaged and never gone down that route,” Affleck says. “I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn’t. I got lost and felt suffocated, miserable and gross. Being in the middle of a tabloid frenzy, it became so intense I had to stop and think, ‘What am I doing with my life?’ I had to smile for the camera, but I was really in turmoil. I was no longer in control of my life and I didn’t know which way to turn. I felt like a hamster in a cage. The faster my legs went, the less distance I seemed to travel.”

First-time director Ben Affleck gets a visit from wife Jennifer Garner on the Boston set of his film Gone, Baby, Gone on Wednesday. The couple, along with 6-month-old daughter Violet, has taken up residence in the area for the duration of the shoot.

I love this couple, they seem so in love and happy <3 And Garner is WAY better for Ben than Lopez.
