Alicia Keys is back big time! Keys came on stage at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards and rocked out to her new single No One. I can’t say I loved her outfit and hair on the red carpet, but she sure did kick ass once on stage, she delivered! And by then she’d changed her hair and put on a different outfit, thank goodness. Alicia’s new album As I Am drops on November 13.

Alicia Keys stopped by MTV’s TRL on Wednesday to promote her new movie The Nanny Diaries, which opens in cinemas today. Miss Keys also has a new album coming out called As I Am, it will be released on November 6th.
Miss Alicia Keys rocked at the Live Earth concert in New York City. Not only did she take the stage in a surprise performance with Keith Urban, but she performed a new song, off her new album, called That Thing About Love. It’s a beautiful song and a beautiful looking Alicia singing it. I love it when she looks girlie, and what is more girlie than a pink dress? Cute! And the hair, she looked gorgeous! Alicia Keys has never had a particularly good sense of fashion, or at least her stylist doesn’t, but here she is strutting her stuff, and I must say she looks good, at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards, held a couple of days ago.
Alicia Keys was one of the many celebrities attending this year’s Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and she looked great! I love it when Alicia looks feminine — the dress and the hair. Braids be gone!
Alicia Keys looked great at the New York premiere of We Are Together. Keys, who is a humanitarian, came out to support the TriBeCa Film Festival documentary, which chronicles the lives of children in a South African orphanage.
Singer turned actress Alicia Keys has spoken out and says that she hates the idea of women starving themselves to achieve the controversial size zero figure. She is annoyed with the size zero culture and thinks women should appreciate what they have. Keys says, “I think that’s total trash. I think that a woman is so much her curves and her many styles. We come in all packages and we are who we are and I definitely don’t like it when young girls feel like they have to totally starve themselves.”
“I think it’s not attractive either, actually. Definitely not healthy.”
The release date of actress Scarlett Johansson’s new movie, which also stars Alicia Keys, has been delayed for five months, in order to stand a better chance for next year’s awards ceremonies. The Nanny Diaries - an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus - stars Johansson alongside Laura Linney, and the comedy was originally due for release next month.
But production bosses have now pushed back the film’s release to September, in the hope that it will benefit come awards time from better scheduling.
A source tells PageSix, “It’s better for awards consideration. This is a better plan.”
