Heath Ledger’s family have spoken out about the actor’s tragic death. Standing outside their Perth home yesterday, Heath’s father Kim, mother Sally and his sister Kate had the following to say:

Heath’s family confirms the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. U.S. time.

We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time. Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him.

He was a down to earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and selfless individual who was extremely inspirational to many. Please now respect our family’s need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately.

Actor Heath Ledger has been found dead, a police spokesman confirms to the Associated Press. He was 28.

Police say the death may be drug-related. The NYPD spokesman tells AP that Ledger had a massage appointment at his Soho apartment. When the housekeeper went to alert Ledger the masseuse was there, she found him at around 3:26 p.m.

He did not respond when they shook him, and the housekeeper called 911. He was pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m. Authorities later said they did not suspect foul play but that pills were found near the body.

Heath leaves behind a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born in New York on Oct. 28, 2005. Matilda’s mom and Ledger’s ex is actress Michelle Williams, who he met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004.

Aniston stars alongside No Reservations actor Aaron Eckhart, and according to on-set sources, the two are getting along really well. But it seems whoever single Aniston plays opposite, they always try to make it out that they’re dating.

Traveling is described as, “A romantic drama about a widower (Eckhart) whose book about coping with loss turns him into a best-selling self-help guru. On a business trip to Seattle, he falls for a woman (Aniston) who attends one of his seminars, only to learn that he hasn’t yet truly confronted his wife’s passing.”

Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman are the proud parents of a little baby boy.

Max Liron Bratman was born on Saturday at 10:05 p.m., the couple’s rep confirmed to People magazine.

“Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy! Mom is resting and doing well!”

Despite various media reports that Aguilera had her baby on Friday, Max – 6 lbs., 2 oz. and 20.5 inches – arrived late on Saturday night in L.A.

If it’s true that Christina Aguilera had booked a c-section for yesterday (Friday), then she should be a mommy by now, but I’m really confused and unsure of what to believe.

First it was reported that Christina was indeed at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and about to have her baby.

Later on in the day E! News reported she’d given birth and that the couple sent out a text message to family and friends around 4pm saying “Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well!” A rep for Christina and Jordan confirmed the arrival and said, “As soon as I have more information I will let you know.”

But now, Us Weekly got a hold of Christina’s rep who is now saying “She is still pregnant, she is not in labor.”

Nicole Richie has given birth!

Nicole and boyfriend Joel Madden are the proud parents of a baby girl, the couple’s rep confirmed to People Magazine.

And the little one already has a name — Harlow Winter Kate Madden.

She was born today (Friday) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz.

“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents,” says the rep.

It’s not just Nicole Richie who is about to become a mother — Christina Aguilera is having her baby today too!

Aguilera apparently scheduled a c-section, back in December, for today.

According to sources, she arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (same place Nicole Richie is pushing right about now) last night and is due to have a c-section any moment now.

She apparently arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center late last night through a secret entrance.

Baby daddy Joel Madden is there too — He was spotted walking into the delivery area of the medical center, and overheard saying “She’s going to start pushing soon.”

Joel’s brother Benji is also there.
