These guys refuse to go away. Despite Kevin Richardson leaving the band (hence the empty shoes) the Backstreet Boys are back and ready to take the world by storm again. I don’t actually know if their last album “Never Gone” made it big, but I do know that I absolutely loved the first single Incomplete. Now, the guys are no longer “Incomplete”, they’re “Inconsolable”, perhaps because Kevin left the group? Nah, the guys didn’t actually write that particular song themselves, but it’s a nice song and you can check it out by going to this site. It’s no Incomplete, but BSB sure know how to make ballads so I will be sure to check out their new album which drops Oct. 30.
Us Weekly must really really hate Britney Spears. They dig up and find (or make up) whatever they can and are determined to bring her down each week with their outrageous covers claiming she did this and that.
This week the gossip mag writes that “Yes, it gets even worse — Topless, drunk and lonely, Spears seduces a college student in a hotel pool as Kevin rushes to save his boys.” The cover shows Britney wearing a hat and sunglasses in a pool with an unknown young guy, who seems to be enjoying himself thinking “oh yeah, check me out, I’m with crazy — cha-ching.” And then there’s the picture of a tired looking Jayden James with the title “Jayden: Out at 10.30pm.”
Britney has yet to file a lawsuit against the tabloid for their recent outrageous covers.

Britney Spears has always been open about her bad driving skills and yesterday afternoon the paps caught her hitting a parked car, outside a local pharmacy, as she tried to park herself. Not only did she hit the parked car going into the parking space, dumb dumb Brit smacked her car door into the other car as she got out to check the damage. And check out the heels she’s driving in!
Nicole Richie has been anything but mum about her jail sentence and her pregnancy. The tiny star opened up to Diane Sawyer on 20/20 and Good Morning America, where they showed home videos shot by Nicole herself and boyfriend Joel Madden, documenting the pregnancy. Nicole also spoke about gaining weight during her pregnancy, and says she doesn’t mind if she gains as much as 50lbs, “It’s what my baby needs,” she said. You can view all the segments here.
Nicole also opened up to OK! Magazine in what was an exclusive interview, but after reading it, not so much. Nicole’s answers are very short and a lot of it was already said in the interviews with Diane Sawyer. Either way it’s an ok read and has some cute exclusive photos. There’s been rumors going around for quite some time that Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams broke up right before the Oscars this year. But now, rumor has it the two are in fact still together and are engaged to be married.
eTalk has pictures of Rachel at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto on Wednesday, with a ring on her left hand. The actress was at a lunch meeting at the Four Seasons and as she prepared to bike away, a ring was spotted on her left hand.
McAdams met Gosling during the filming of their 2004 movie, “The Notebook.” They won the MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss in 2005, which they re-enacted on stage at the awards show.
eTalk gossip columnist Elaine Lui writes on her blog today: “Rachel is exceedingly uncomfortable with those who wish The Notebook upon her relationship and as such would rather encourage break-up rumours than quell them.”
Marc Anthony and his always lovely wife Jennifer Lopez are pictured above at the Los Angeles premiere of their new movie El Cantante, a couple of days ago. Marc and Jennifer have had a hectic couple of weeks promoting the movie, so hectic that Marc forgot to get Jennifer a present on her 38th birthday on July 24th. However, Lopez told Jay Leno a couple of days ago that she had a nice evening with her family and friends.
The lovely Reese Witherspoon has been chosen as Avon’s First Ever Global Ambassador. In this newly-established role, Ms. Witherspoon will serve as the Honorary Chairman of the Avon Foundation, focusing on breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief initiatives, and she will be the spokeswoman for Avon’s beauty brands and Sales Representatives. “I am very excited to be partnering with Avon. Avon is more than an iconic world class beauty leader — it is a company that is known the world over as a crusader for women’s causes,” said Ms. Witherspoon. “I am truly impressed by how Avon has been able to effect real change in the communities in which it does business, and by how committed the company is to providing economic and personal fulfillment to women all over the world.
