Although she clearly doesn’t want to make an official statement (not yet anyway), Christina Aguilera was happy to tell her obstetrician’s receptionist how excited she is to be expecting her first child. A source tells the New York Daily News, “Christina couldn’t contain her excitement. She said she couldn’t wait for the baby to be born.”

Meanwhile, Christina showed off some cleavage as she and hubby Jordan Bratman headed out for dinner over the weekend.

Jennifer Aniston and her Friends co-star Courteney Cox-Arquette, her hubby David and their daughter Coco (not pictured), are currently on holiday in Hawaii together. Aniston is taking a break before she starts shooting the big screen adaptation of John Grogan’s bestselling book ‘Marley & Me’, in which she will star alongside funny-man Owen Wilson.

Jessica Alba is currently shooting her upcoming horror movie The Eye in Vancouver, Canada, but managed to find the time to sit down with Entertainment Weekly to talk about her next project, comedy flick The Love Guru.

On what drew her to the project?
I mean, Mike Myers (director/writer). Are you kidding? He’s an amazing comedian. And oh my God, it would be an honor to work with him. The script is really funny: It’s about things having a soul. And there’s a Bollywood aspect to it.

What’s her character like?
She owns a hockey team that’s cursed in Toronto — they can’t win a game — and she basically gets the Love Guru to come in and help her star hockey player. She thinks he’s going through some emotional things and that’s why he isn’t playing well. On her family name is this curse, and she has a hard time dating men and a hard time with people, because everyone in Toronto is a huge hockey fan and they blame her family for ruining the game.

Eva Longoria’s character Gabrielle Solis (or whatever it is now that she’s divorced Carlos) on Desperate Housewives may get killed off, sources say, and with Eva being the “happiest she’s ever been” since getting married, it’s apparently no big deal to her. Insiders on the Desperate set say that creator Marc Cherry may be considering the death of one of the show’s main characters, and more and more, Eva’s character is looking to be the one he chooses. A friend of the actress says, “To be truthful, I don’t think Desperate Housewives is the most important thing in Eva’s life any longer.”

Since marrying the love of her life, Tony Parker, in July this year, Eva has had babies on her mind and is keen to start a family. “Eva is the one major star on the show who wouldn’t have a big problem getting written off. She’s made no secret of the fact that she and her husband want to start a family right away,” the insider added.

Superb Entourage actor Kevin Dillon, who plays the funny Johnny “Drama” Chase, celebrated his 42nd birthday at Rehab Pool at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Sunday, August 19, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Asked earlier this month, by The New York Post, if the Entourage guys get along, Dillon said, “Yeah, I mean we’re all going to sneak out of [this party] soon and go out and hang out and we love each other’s company. These guys are great and we all get along really well and I think that makes a huge difference. I really do. I guess in some cases, some shows, they don’t have to have that and they can still be big shows. But in our case, we really do. I love these guys and I feel they love me and that’s a great feeling.”

Lily Allen isn’t bovvered by her American working visa being unexpectedly revoked earlier this month, following concerns about her March arrest in London after she allegedly punched a photographer. When it first happened, Lily released a statement saying how disappointed she was, “I am so disappointed that I won’t be able to come to the States at this time, I want my fans to know that I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can!” Her tune has changed quite a bit though — Miss Allen performed at this weekend’s V Festival in the UK and had the following to say to the crowd, “I’ve been banned from America. That’s nice. Oh well, that means I can’t go back there. Good.” After her performance Lily admitted to being “a little drunk.” Isn’t she always?

Hilary Duff, who was left heartbroken after Joel Madden and Nicole Richie started dating shortly after her relationship with Madden ended, acted mature when she found out her ex and his new love are expecting a baby. “After they appeared on Good Morning America, Hilary breezily texted Joel congratulations on the pregnancy, and Joel warmly responded,” a source tells Us Weekly.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have kept an extremely low profile since the all-too-exposing photos hit the internet and since they gave an exclusive interview to OK! magazine about it. They did make an appearance at the grand opening of the new Atelier building and Vanessa went bowling with a friend, but otherwise these two have been staying out of the lime light — until now. The happy couple were spotted on Monday leaving Butter nightclub in New York, where they rushed past the waiting photographers.

Meanwhile, a “friend” of the couple has revealed that the lovebirds are shopping for wedding rings and says that Vanessa “knows exactly what she wants.” The friend says, “Vanessa has always wanted a cushion-cut diamond. But at the Kentucky Derby in May, Vanessa changed her mind after she saw and emerald-cut engagement ring on another Derby-goers finger.”
