Nicole Richie has confirmed that she is indeed expecting her first child with boyfriend Joel Madden. “Yes, I am. We are. I’m almost four months,” Richie told Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview which will air on “Good Morning America” Thursday and Friday and on “20/20″ Friday night.

Richie, who had Joel by her side the entire time, also speaks to Diane about her jail sentence, “I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Orlando Bloom is rumored to be in talks to join the cast of the Da Vinci Code sequel “Angels & Demons”. Cinemablend.com has the scoop:

“Tonight I got an email from a long time scooper who claims that Pirates heartthrob Orlando Bloom is in talks to join the cast of Angels & Demons alongside Hanks and [Gisele] Bundchen. Our source is one who has given us proven information before, and a quick look at Orlando Bloom’s mostly empty post-Pirates schedule confirms that he has nothing else lined up, which would mean he’s free to do it, since production is supposed to begin soon (if it hasn’t started already).”

Orlando is actually doing something at the moment. He is currently starring in a revival of the David Storey play In Celebration. He is pictured above arriving at the theater earlier today.

Newly-single Jessica Alba went patio furniture shopping with a friend in West Hollywood on Sunday afternoon. Sources close to Alba say that “commitment issues” broke up her and Cash Warren. A friend of the couple tells the New York Daily News, “Cash wasn’t ready for marriage, and Jessica is. It’s simple as that. It’s kind of cold that the press is saying she was just finished with him, because it isn’t like that.” The friend added that attending Eva Longoria’s wedding finally pushed her, “Seeing Eva get married made Jessica wistful. That was the reason Jessica seemed to be in a terrible mood in Paris.”

Katie Holmes is back in Berlin, Germany, to support her hubby while he films his new movie. Katie, who went without Tom and cute little Suri, was spotted spending lots of money at trendy boutiques in Berlin on Monday afternoon.

Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl and her fiancé Josh Kelley have announced that they are getting married this Christmas, and they want the ceremony to take place in snowy Utah, where Heigl owns a ranch property. There will be one big tribute during the ceremony - to Heigl’s brother Jason, who died of brain injuries suffered in a 1986 car crash, according to reports.

Heigl recently finished filming 27 Dresses and is now back to being Izzie Stevens. During a day off from filming the hit show, Katherine and Josh were spotted looking cute and happy as they went grocery shopping in Los Angeles.

After 5 seasons of The Simple Life, it has been announced by E! Networks that the current season, The Simple Life Goes to Camp, will be the last for the once popular “reality” show. A source at E! tells Us Weekly that overexposure is to blame for the show’s cancellation. “We felt like the real life drama of their lives overshadowed anything happening on the show,” says the source. “Viewers would see Paris all day long on the news about her going to jail, so they didn’t care about seeing her camping with kids. It just was too played out.” The insider also added that Nicole Richie became increasingly difficult to work with last season, “Paris carried the show. She was the one willing to do anything, Nicole was the diva.”

The show still has a chance if another network decides to pick it up, however that doesn’t seem to be happening and Paris Hilton has already come to terms with it. “It’s been a great five years and we had so much fun. I’m happy to end it at that,” Paris told reporters at the premiere of Rush Hour 3 on Monday night.

Britney Spears did not have a good day shooting her new music video, according to reports. She looked like shit, as you can see, but she also felt like shit. The Daily Mail has the scoop:

Spears caused further worry to fans when she struggled through a raunchy pole dance routine looking dishevelled and disorientated. Scantily-clad Britney wore revealing leather hot pants and torn fishnets as she tried to strut her stuff - but she moved ungraciously as she clung on to the pole. The images fuel fears that the singer is spiralling out of control. She tried to give the dance some of her notorious attitude, but no matter how hard she tried she just looked shy and embarrassed. Britney looked a sad sight with her make-up smeared and her long dark hair hanging lifelessly across her face during the bizarre routine. At one point during the filming the 25-year-old stared vacantly into the camera while she clutched her Yorkie puppie.

An onlooker said that the star sobbed hysterically at the end of filming.
