Lindsay Lohan is determined to get better this time around. Lindsay, who is currently at Promises rehab facility in Malibu, has canceled her 21st birthday bash at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas, because she wants to stay in rehab for longer. PURE confirmed the cancellation of the bash on Monday and it was thought the decision had been made because Lindsay would want to steer clear of temptation so soon after finishing her 30 days in rehab. But now a source has told the New York Post it’s because she won’t have actually left rehab by then: “She is staying in Promises for longer than a month. We don’t know how much longer because of her work schedule, but she is taking rehab very seriously this time and not messing around.”

I’m.in.shock. No seriously, it’s great to hear and I hope Lindsay comes out of this a happier and healthier person.

Lost actress Evangeline Lilly was in no mood to be photographed earlier this month, when she arrived at Vancouver airport. The actress spent the two first weeks of June filming her first feature film Afterwards in Canada, and is now on location in New Mexico, where the rest of the film is being shot. Evangeline is set to return to the Hawaiian Lost set sometime in August. Season four of the hit show premieres in February 2008.

Hayden Panettiere’s summer break is (already) over. The talented young actress, 17, was photographed a few days ago on the set of Heroes, and seemed happy to be back. In between takes Hayden would sit with the crew, read the script and talk on the phone. Hopefully this young lady isn’t going to grow up to be the next *insert f****d up celebrity’s name here*. She’s talented, sweet, smart and so down to earth — she has a bright future ahead of her. Don’t mess it up, Hayden.

I have always thought this about Vanessa Minnillo — she wants everything Jessica Simpson once had, including Nick Lachey. A mere few months after Nick and Jessica announced their split, Minnillo appeared in Nick’s music video for What’s Left Of Me. The making of the video was filmed by an MTV crew and Minnillo, who was constantly flirting with Nick, told the cameras that she “would love to take what’s left of Mr. Lachey” — seems like she really meant it.

The two soon started dating, and since then Minnillo has quit her 2 jobs (TRL and Entertainment Tonight) and now has a cosmetics line out, just like Jessica’s Dessert line. Even the freakin’ logos look the same. Now, Minnillo wants her own reality show! Yes, reality show! Newlyweds clearly had a huge impact on Nick and Jessica’s marriage, and since the divorce both have said they would never do it again. Still, Minnillo has her heart set on being famous. “The show would just follow her around in her day,” a source says, adding wryly, “She really wants to be famous.” Minnillo declined to comment recently when asked about her upcoming projects.

Britney Spears has, on more than one occasion, been pictured in different outfits on the same day. On Friday night Britney was pictured arriving at club Winston wearing a long black dress (left), but when Brit left the club (right) a few hours later, she had changed into black shorts and a loose fitted summer top. Why? Who brings clothes to a club and changes their outfit? Us girls struggle to fit all of our make-up etc. into our handbag, how would we manage to bring a different outfit. When a star is snapped on the same day wearing the same thing, chances are that media outlets (like TMZ) are less likely to purchase more than one photo. But when a gallivanting starlet wears one look during the day and then changes into another, the photos of both outfits will likely sell. Cha-ching!

So, if Britney’s multiple looks are a calculated strategy to sell photos — is she in on the deal?

Rumors are that Britney is working with a certain stalkerazzi agency. We contacted Brit’s rep but didn’t hear back by post time.

Nicole Richie is reportedly pregnant, and pretty happy about it — Rumors are going around that she may avoid going to jail, if there’s a little bun in the oven. Nicole is set to appear in court possibly this month for driving her car under the influence of painkillers and marijuana, but she believes her being pregnant might give her a better chance at staying out of jail — unlike best pal Paris Hilton.
