Nicole Richie left her Aussie fans crying after she completely ignored them upon arrival at Sydney airport yesterday. Miss Richie reportedly rushed past all the waiting fans and didn’t sign any autographs. Not only were Richie’s fans disappointed with her, the Quantas cabin crew weren’t too pleased either. “She’s not very nice,” a female crew member said. “She has no charm.” No charm? Eh, ok. When asked about the scrum at the airport, Richie made no apology. “You know what, I had just woken up so it was definitely a rush but, you know, we got through it,” she said.

Party maniac Lindsay Lohan never misses a fun night out and last night was no exception. Lindsay appeared at Us’ Hot Hollywood 2007 last night. Meanwhile, Lindsay has spoken out about her partying ways, saying “being an actress is lonely”, so she hangs out and parties with her friends as much as she can. I guess that makes sense…? no, no it doesn’t.

Us Weekly magazine honored Jennifer Lopez with the Style Icon of the Year award last night at Us’ Hot Hollywood 2007. Lopez, who arrived at the event with husband Marc Anthony (not pictured) in an elegant white Ralph Lauren pantsuit and Versace shoes, was honored for her signature style and glamour—a distinction that took her by surprise. “It was unexpected,” she told Usmagazine.com of receiving the top prize. Still, Lopez wanted to make sure she dressed to impress, telling Us, “It took me two hours to get ready, like every other girl.”

The gorgeous Carmen Electra made an appearance last night at the Hot Hollywood 2007 event. Carmen recently revealed to Sunday magazine that she has a little girlie crush on British model Kate Moss. Electra says “She’s gorgeous. I’m the kind of girl who can tell another woman if I think she is beautiful, and Kate is. She has a great sense of style and everyone looks up to her. She’s really cool.”

Ashlee Simpson, looking cute, appeared at the Hot Hollywood 2007 event last evening. Miss Simpson did not bring her father this time (or at least they didn’t pose together), but recently spoke of him in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar saying “He is a wonderful man”, in regards to him being, according to the tabloids and some of Ashlee’s fans, a money-hungry and controlling father/manager. Suuuure.

Following in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson (Vanessa pretty much has Jessica’s old life), Vanessa Minnillo launched her collection of Flirt! Cosmetics yesterday in New York.

Nicole Richie hosted the Armani Exchange Sunglass Launch last night in Los Angeles. Also in attendance were Paris Hilton and her rival Lindsay Lohan. No word on whether the two had a go at each other or not.

Hilary Duff seems to have a big mouth these days, never turning down the opportunity to comment on a fellow famous person. This time Duff spoke to Blender magazine about how she feels, or more like doesn’t feel, about Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

On Lindsay and Britney: “I don’t want to feel sorry for them, because I don’t. I feel sorry that they have to deal with so many people wanting to focus on their flaws and hard times. But that’s the business.”

Ouch! But I can’t say that I disagree, why feel sorry for Lindsay and Britney?

Nicole Richie looked great yesterday afternoon leaving the Dior store in Beverly Hills. Maybe Nicole was picking out an outfit for the upcoming MTV Australia Awards, which she is attending with her boyfriend Joel Madden, his brother and girlfriend Sophie Monk.
