Christina Ricci, who attended the 2007 Film Independent’s Spirit Awards last night, with her boyfriend of many years, Adam Goldberg (inset), looked happy and lovely as she walked the red carpet. Inside, Ricci, 27 (Ricci celebrated her birthday earlier this month, on the 12th), reunited with old friend and Mermaids co-star, Winona Ryder. The two played Cher’s daughters in the 1990 comedy.

Drew Barrymore’s Hawaiian Getaway

Drew Barrymore celebrated her 32nd birthday on Thursday in beautiful Hawaii. The ‘Music and Lyrics‘ actress spent the day with friends (including ‘Charlie’s Angels‘ co-star, Cameron Diaz) on the beach. Early the next morning, Drew and 2 friends, went hiking, and later that night it was time to fly back to Los Angeles.

Sex And The City Movie

Sex and the City — coming to a cinema near you? I hope so! The people behind SATC are one step closer to making a movie, they might even start filming this fall. Read all about it below:

A script for the feature film version of Sex And The City is currently being written and could begin filming later this year (07) in New York City.

The movie has been rumoured to be in the works since the hit Tv series ended in 2004.

Mario Cantone, who played Charlotte’s wedding planner Anthony on the series, confirms the show’s screenwriter, director and executive producer, Michael Patrick King, is working on the script.

He tells Australian Associated Press, “I know the script is being written and I know it will be brilliant because Michael Patrick King is writing it.

“I know that I’m in it. I have a nice part in it, I’m told. If it happens, we should film it in early fall I think, but I hope it stays on course, because I would love to do it.”

Cantone says the show’s legions of fans are desperate for the feature film version, adding, “There are girls who come up to me in the street in tears and say, ‘When’s the Sex and the City movie happening?’

“If you look at The Devil Wears Prada, it was such a big success, this would do even better.

“Sex and the City has the audience and I think it’s a good time to do it now, because enough time has passed since the series ended.”

Britney Spears Attacks The Paparazzi

Britney Spears went bananas Wednesday night (the above pictures look pretty scary), when Kevin Federline refused to let her in the house to see the kids. The paparazzi were of course right there, taking pictures, asking questions, being incredibly annoying, which made Spears even more angry. Britney grabbed an umbrella from her friend’s car and started hitting the paparazzi and their SUV with it, yelling “f**k you”. It all happened pretty quickly - Britney ran to her friend’s car and they drove off. The agency (X17) won’t press charges against Britney because they “love her”. They better not — don’t bite the hand that feeds you!

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have finally made their love public. The two were spotted together last week, holding hands, but as soon as they realized they were being followed by snappers, they let go of each other, and kept their distance. This time, however, they decided to show their love to the world, as they went for a stroll in sunny Queensland, Australia, holding hands.
