Madonna and Family @ Premiere

Despite rumors their marriage is on the rocks yet again (this time allegedly because Madonna wants to adopt another baby), Madonna and her hubby, Guy Ritchie, showed a united front as they posed for cameras at the London premiere of Arthur and the Invisibles, along with their son, Rocco, and Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes (who is all grown up and beautiful).

Eva & Tony’s Wedding Details

On the red carpet at E!’s Golden Globes pre-show, Eva Longoria refused to divulge details about her upcoming nuptials to Tony Parker, except for the fact that they would take place in France.

Now, Us Weekly has learned that the Desperate Housewives star and San Antonio Spurs guard (who got engaged in November after a rocky two-year romance) will wed on July 7, 2007, at Château de Chantilly, a fairy-tale-like castle north of Paris.

According to a source, “Tony is extremely superstitious and thinks that 07-07-07 is the day most lucky to get married on.”

Longoria, 31, will be traveling to France in February with event planner Mindy Weiss to finalize details for the reception, including ordering the flowers, food and cake. And, since Parker, 24, has family in France, the groom-to-be’s mother, Pamela, will be nearby to lend a helping hand.

“Tony wants her to feel that it’s her day as well as his and Eva’s,” says a source.

And, to top if off, designer Monique Lhuillier will create Longoria’s dress for the big day, a source says.

Longoria’s rep tells Us, “She’s still working out the details. Nothing is confirmed.”

Jessica Alba to star in The Eye

Jessica Alba has signed on to star in horror thriller “The Eye” for Tom Cruise’s production company. The 25-year-old has signed a $4 million deal to star in the movie, which is a remake of the Hong Kong film “Jian Gui.”

The movie is being made for the star’s Cruise/Wagner Productions. It is not yet known whether Cruise will co-star in the film.

Alba will play Allison, a woman who received an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world. Production starts next month on location in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Sienna Miller Refused to Lose Weight

Sienna Miller recently revealed that Factory Girl director, George Hickenlooper, asked the already slender star to shed some more pounds to better resemble her character, Edie Sedgwick.
“Edie was skinnier than I am,” the 25-year-old said of her drug-addicted character, “so director George Hickenlooper wanted me to lose weight.” However, Miller wasn’t easily persuaded to change her eating habits. “I can’t work that hard and not eat,” she said. “He’d come and try to snatch bagels out of my hands.”

Mandy Moore’s Ghost Encounter

Mandy Moore doesn’t let fear get in her way. Jump out of an airplane? No problem. Live in a haunted house? Bring it on!

Moore told David Letterman on CBS’ “Late Show” Wednesday that she once made a resolution to go skydiving, and decided to try jumping tandem with an experienced instructor.

“So thrilling!” Moore gushed. “I’m addicted, I want to go again!” She added that she loved how serene and quiet it was the moment after her parachute opened.

The 22-year-old singer and actress said she was just a little afraid when she stayed at a recording studio built in an old house in the upstate New York town of Woodstock. Moore was there to work on her upcoming album, due this spring.

She was told ahead of time that the house was haunted by the matriarch of the family who once lived there.

“I’m a big scaredy-cat,” she said. “So as soon as I arrived in my part of the house I walked around to every room saying, ‘I’m just here for a couple of months and I’m here to do something real and creative, so please don’t scare me, please leave me alone!’”

Moore told Letterman that she heard footsteps at night, would come home late and find all the lights on in her room, and would find her laundry thrown on the floor.

“There’s not a chance that raccoons could get in the house?” asked Letterman.

She insisted there was no other way to explain it, other than there being ghosts in the house.

One thing that did give Moore the jitters was starring opposite her idol, Diane Keaton, in the upcoming film “Because I Said So” opening Feb. 2.

“Diane truly is on a pedestal to me. I love her,” said Moore.

Jennifer Garner’s Diamond Disaster

Jennifer Garner was mortified when a ring husband Ben Affleck gave her disappeared down a drain and ended up under their home. The star was preparing for the debut of her new film when she dropped the diamond ring on the floor and it rolled under a large ice machine.

She explains “I was getting ready to go to the premiere of Catch And Release and the hair’s going here and the make-up’s going there and I was playing with this ring that Ben gave me for the birth of the child.

“You get a ring now or something wonderful, he’s very generous. So he gave me this beautiful diamond ring and I was playing with it and it fell onto the ground and it fell into the drain under the ice-maker. A plumber had to come while I’m getting ready to go and dismantle the thing from under the house - and he found it! A happy ending!”

Cleaning her face that is. The tiny twin told Bliss magazine that she is obsessed with cleaning her face because she is paranoid about germs. Ashley says “I try to make sure my face is clean. I’m a bit obsessed with washing my face”. “I’ll wash it, like, four times a day, which means I constantly have to redo my make-up”.
