Evangeline Lilly’s House Destroyed by Fire

The home rented by Lost actress Evangeline Lilly in Kailua, Hawaii, has been lost in a fire that completely destroyed the residence, Lilly’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“Yes, it is unfortunately true that her home in Hawaii burned down this morning,” said the rep, Cara Tripicchio. “Thankfully, Evangeline is safe as she was on set already when it occurred.”

Tripicchio added: “There is no official statement, and I have no further comment or information to provide at this time.”

The house, which Lilly reportedly shares with two women who work on the Lost crew, was empty at the time of the blaze. No injuries were reported.

Honolulu Fire Capt. Kenison Tejada said that his department received the alarm at 6:43 a.m. Wednesday, and that crews reached the scene six minutes later.

“When we arrived the house was fully engulfed,” Tejada said. “It was a complete loss. Just the roof was still standing.”

He confirmed that none of the house’s three female residents were home at the time of the fire. Two were at work and the third was off island, he said.

Lilly, 27, who plays Kate on the series, earlier this year has been romantically linked to costar Dominic Monaghan.

Fire investigators arrived on the scene of the early morning blaze later on Wednesday. The cause has yet to be determined.

“I woke up to my dogs barking,” Morgan Janus, a neighbor who lives across the street, told the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper. “There were loud popping sounds, like something electrical.”

Sienna Miller went on a vodka diet to lose weight for her latest film.The slim 24-year-old actress had to get down to a controversial size 0 for her role as Edie Sedgwick in new movie ‘Factory Girl’.

Sedgwick was revered artist Andy Warhol’s muse and an ‘It’ girl of the mid-60s, who was addicted to drugs and suffered from depression and bulimia. So Sienna, who recently split for good from her sometime boyfriend Jude Law, resorted to drastic measures to make sure she accurately resembled her troubled character.

She is quoted as saying: “I decided to drink vodka instead of wine because it has less calories.” Another of her sliming techniques was to eat omelettes made only of egg
whites.

Sienna stars opposite Guy Pierce, who plays Warhol, and Hayden Christensen who plays Sedgwick’s fictional lover Billy Quinn - who is believed to based on three of her real life partners, Bob Dylan, the late Doors singer Jim Morrison and Sir Mick Jagger.Sedgwick tragically died at the age of 28 from a barbiturate overdose.

Proving once again that Hollywood is concerned about the body image of young women everywhere, one skinny actress wants to be skinnier, at least that is what is being reported. In Touch magazine.

She says: “I have curves, but I don’t really like them. I wish I was skinnier and taller.”

The typical image of a hollywood actress has been a topic of debate lately.

Actress Kate Winslet has blasted the trend for female stars and models to slim down to a tiny ‘size zero’ as “unbelievably disturbing”.

“What I resent is that there is an image of perfection that is getting thinner and thinner,” the 31-year-old star of ‘Titantic’ says.

Cameron Diaz has become the latest high-profile celebrity to criticise her super-skinny counterparts.

The 34-year-old actress told chat show legend Michael Parkinson that she finds the influence of super slim celebs “terrifying”.

Speaking to Parky, in comments to be aired on ITV1 this Saturday, Diaz said: “I think it’s…tragic and sad. It’s a sickness, something that’s going on in someone’s head where their perspective is off.

“We get ideals from images that we see and there certainly should be more responsibility put on those people who are putting those images out into the world. Let’s be a little bit more responsible to what’s realistic.”

Britney Spears Booed At Laker Game

Britney Spears and ner nude no panties act probably had a lot to do with our favorite Pop-Tart receiving a frosty reception when she showed up at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game over the weekend.

The ‘Toxic’ singer was booed by fans as she took her seat courtside at the Staples Center for the Lakers Sunday night clash with the Washington Wizards.

Spears was joined by her agent and her sister Jamie Lynn and left the game before halftime after fans poked fun as her face appeared on the venue’s Jumbotron.

Well, look on the bright side: Britney Spears kept her word — she’s definitely wearing underwear! Only problem? There wasn’t much of anything else!

The barely-dressed mother-of-two appeared at her own mother’s birthday party dinner rocking a ridiculously see-through lace dress that showed off her lingerie consisting of a pink bra and black panties and black high heels.

But not all is corrupt at the Spears household. Sister Jamie-Lynn was donning a more conservative jeans-and-tee combo. (There’s hope yet!)

After staying for just an hour, Brit-Brit was back at Forty Deuce club where she stripped down to her bra and miniskirt and performed in a burlesque show much to the delight of the audience.

As you may recall, Britney was at the club on Tuesday night. She apparently enjoyed herself so much that she asked for the rare privilege to perform in a show along with the other burlesque hoes.
