Reese Witherspoon & Ryan Phillippe Split

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have separated after seven years of marriage.
“We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate,” a rep for the couple said in a statement released Monday. “They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.” TMZ.com first reported the couple’s split.

Witherspoon, 30, and Phillippe, 32, have two children, daughter Ava, 7, and son Deacon, 3.

The couple met while working together on 1999’s Cruel Intentions.

Witherspoon, who won an Oscar for her role in last year’s hit Walk the Line, is next expected to appear in the drama Rendition. Phillippe is currently starring in the WWII drama Flags of Our Fathers.

Did Nicole Richie Collapse?

Nicole Richie reportedly collapsed at Hollywood nightclub Hyde early Sunday morning.

Sources tell TMZ that the incident occurred just before 2 a.m. when Richie, 25, passed out and fell to the floor. After an employee told Richie’s friends that he was calling 911, they told the employee not to make the call, saying they were taking Richie to a hospital. The friends then carried Richie out of the club through the back door.

Before Richie’s alleged collapse, she was spending time with Lindsay Lohan, 20, inside the club, sources tell TMZ.

Late last week, Richie’s reps confirmed that the shockingly slender Simple Life star entered treatment to determine why she can’t gain weight.

Richie’s rep told TMZ that her client was at Hyde for approximately 20 minutes but denies the collapse.

Nude Photos Of Marcia Cross Stolen

Desperate Housewives actress Marcia Cross is battling to keep naked pictures of her from being published. Two hundred sexy snaps were reportedly discovered by a catering company hired to removed garbage from redhead Cross’ home in Los Angeles. The firm’s owner is being represented by agent David Hans Schmidt, who plans to sell the pictures.

Schmidt tells the New York Daily News, “There are some pictures of her showering outside. She looks absolutely gorgeous. And yes, the carpet does match the curtains.”

But 44-year-old Cross’ legal team claim the photos were thrown away by mistake and insist they still belong to her and husband Tom Mahoney. She is demanding their return.

But Schmidt is confident he has the law behind him and hints he plans to sell them abroad: “The pictures were not stolen. When you throw something away, you forfeit that property. We recognize the copyright issue, but US copyright law stops at the border.”

But he has given Cross the opportunity to buy the photos back, claiming he knows how wealthy she is after discovering her tax return in the trash as well.

Schmidt adds, “I’m not looking to mortify Ms. Cross. I just want the most money for my client. I know how much she made, but out of respect for Ms. Cross, I won’t discuss it.”

Victoria Beckham may tower over other WAGS with her own fashion line and her iconic status, but she felt dwarfed in front of her new best friend Katie Holmes, who is a couple of inches taller than her.
Posh who is 5ft 6ins felt like a midget in front of Tom Cruise’s fiancée who is 5ft 9ins, and to make things worse, Katie wore heels for their trips to fashion shows.
“I had so much fun in Paris with her. She is very tall though — I did feel like a bit of a midget!” Posh was quoted by the Sun, as saying.
Victoria’s husband David Beckham and Katie’s fiancé Tom Cruise are pals, and Posh is said to be helping Katie prepare for her November 18 wedding in Italy.

Breaking And Entering

Sadie Frost, fashion designer and ex-wife of Jude Law, was robbed in the early hours of Thursday morning. Burglars reportedly entered the designer’s London home between midnight and 8 am while she and her the three children she shares with Law were sleeping. The robbers found Frost’s car keys and made off with the family’s Range Rover. Law spoke of the incident last night at the premiere of his new film - called, ironically, Breaking and Entering - saying, “Funnily enough, the mother of my kids was burgled when they were in the house. I was particularly worried because the kids were in the house, and I think that is a very different type of burglar to one that breaks into empty offices and takes computers at night.” Law plays an architect in the film whose studios are repeatedly broken in to.
