Singer Alicia Keys is warning filmgoers that her brutal role as an assassin in feature film “Smokin’ Aces” may not be appropriate for her younger fans. The R&B star is trying her luck on the big screen playing “bad-ass” assassin Georgia Sykes in the film, alongside Ben Affleck, Don Cheadle and Andy Garcia.She explains, “I think I have to put out a public service announcement for all my fans who are under 18. This role is that crazy. I get to deal with emotions that most people have to suppress, like extreme anger and rage.”

The singer isn’t daunted by her first dramatic role, insisting, “I grew up around the theatre, my mother was an actress. It’s always been my destiny.”

Sure, he’s got three movies on the way. But it feels like forever since we last saw Justin Timberlake serenading the señoritas as he Justified his existence in a post-’NYSNC world. And with his second solo album slated for a 2006 release, JT is on the verge of — dare we say it — a comeback. So how does he plan to return, and where exactly is he at with the album?

MTV: It’s been a while.

Justin Timberlake: Yeah, it’s been a minute. I mean, with the exception of the song I did with Snoop, I really haven’t done much, but I kinda needed it. And I’ve always wanted to get into film, but I wanted to do it the right way. The opportunities came up and I didn’t want to crap on them, so I took the movie roles that I thought were some cool ones to do, and decided to work with directors that I thought were cool, and it’s been a lot of fun. Hopefully I’ll find a way to manage the two successfully, schedulewise, ’cause it does become a stretch.

MTV: Was music on your mind at all?

Timberlake: I’m always thinking of ideas and writing and creating music and I always had a guitar or a keyboard around in the trailer when I was sitting around. I just needed a little bit of time away from touring and promoting and I just needed a little time to live.

MTV: So where are you at now with the next record?

Timberlake: I’ve written and produced at least 11, 12 songs already and I’m just gonna keep working with myself and other producers. I think this one altogether is … a little more fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants as far as the writing that I’m doing. I have trouble writing things down anyways, because I feel like it slows me down, so this helps the vibe. I just go into the studio and start coming up with an idea and then bounce it off of whoever I’m working with, or, if I’m by myself, sit down at the piano and start just banging it out.

Britney Spears was looking absolutely gorgeous as she attented Mardi Gras in New Orleans. The wedding ring was back on and Britney seemed to enjoy her brief visit. Spears said: “I am honored to be a part of the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans this year. It is so important for this amazing city to continue its annual traditions and I am really looking forward to being involved.” Britney Spears will most likely return to Hawaii where she is renting a house and plans to record her new album over the next 3 months.

After months of speculation everything is finally happening. Both Nicole Richie, 24, and Paris Hilton, 25, are going to appear on the new season of the hit reality series titled “The Simple Life: Till Death Do Us Part”. Sources from the set reveal that the girls didn’t say a word to each other, in fact they didn’t even look at each other. The new season will debut in spring 2006 on E!

Jennifer Aniston can’t bear seeing photos of ex-husband Brad Pitt looking happy with new love Angelina Jolie.

The former ‘Friends’ beauty avoids looking at snaps of the hunky actor playing happy families with his new girlfriend and her adopted children, Maddox and Zahara.

She revealed: “I don’t pay them any attention. It’s poisonous.”

But the stunning star insists she and Brad - who will become a dad for the first time when Angelina has their baby later this year - are still “good friends” and maintains their split was amicable.
She said: “The divorce was very peaceful. People imagine a war or a story from a soap opera, but it’s not like that.”

Jennifer also says she’s determined not to let the break up ruin her life, after watching divorce destroy her mother almost 30 years ago.

She explained: “My mother never let it go and wasted half her life. I vowed not to do that.”

But the ‘Derailed’ actress admits she has thought about quitting Los Angeles for Chicago, to escape the intense interest in her private life.

She told Spain’s ABC magazine: “I like Chicago. The people leave me in peace.”

Ashlee Simpson And Carmen Electra Turn To Interior Design

Former Baywatch star Carmen Electra and singer Ashlee Simpson will try their hand at interior designing by creating suites for the newest Hard Rock Hotel.

The stars will create themed ‘Rock Star Suites’ for the Hard Rock Hotel and condominium development in San Diego, California. Electra will design a Rock Star Goddess Suite, complete with a heart-shaped bathtub and a stripper pole, while Simpson will create a Surfer Rock Chick Suite.

Meanwhile, hip-hop group the Black Eyed Peas will design the uniforms for the hotel staff.
The suites will be on the market this spring (06). Prices for the regular condominiums range from $400,000 to $1.5 million (£235,000 to £882,000).
