Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are engaged.
According to a friend of Bilson, the two, who costarred in 2008’s “Jumper,” got engaged in December.
“They’re so excited,” says the friend, adding that no wedding date has been set. “They’re a great couple. Rachel seems thrilled beyond belief.”
Bilson’s rep told People Magazine, “I don’t comment on my clients’ personal lives,” and a rep for Christensen had no comment.

If Heath Ledger wins for Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards this Sunday, the Oscar will go to his daughter Matilda.
“In the event that Heath Ledger should be selected as the supporting actor recipient, the statuette will be held in trust for his daughter by her mother, Michelle Williams, until Matilda reaches the age of 18,” Bruce Davis, executive director of the academy, reports the Associated Press.
“At that point, she may execute what we call an heir’s agreement and keep the statuette forever – or, if she chooses not to do that, it will return to us.”

Although she called it “the horror that is Valentine’s Day,” it appears that Katy Perry may have been struck by cupid’s arrow and so has Paris Hilton’s ex-boyfriend Benji Madden.
Following a performance at Hard Rock Hotel’s Wasted Space, Perry, 24, and Madden, 29, headed to Lavo – where they conspicuously cuddled throughout the night, later prompting one observer to sense “some chemistry there.” The smitten pair could barely keep their hands off each other.

“Grey’s Anatomy” actor Eric Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart are working on becoming first-time parents.
The couple, who are both 36, have been married for four years and are finally ready to have a baby together.
“We’re currently working on that,” Dane told Ellen DeGeneres during his appearance on the show February 10, adding that the process hasn’t been simple.
“It’s funny because you get the doctors involved and they call you and it’s like, In eight days I’ll have to put in some work,” he explained. Then, he said, for four days, “I will be very busy and I probably shouldn’t schedule anything else.”

Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Tony Romo went out to lunch at Da Silvano in the West Village on Friday (February 13). The couple were accompanied by Simpson’s mother Tina. Upon leaving, a woman outside the restaurant shouted at Jessica saying “You look skinny and you’re beautiful. You’re beautiful, Jessica!” to which Simpson said nothing. Once she got in her SUV Simpson, who was clearly a little camera shy that day, hid behind a magazine.
